:D 90 days girls, 90 days!!! :D

Side note, @Tiggerish I too stopped receiving updates on this thread!!! :( I thought we had gone silent in here!

We are arriving at 10:15am on the 7th. Right now we are booked for POR for that night but my sister went behind my back and was checking out discounts for the Poly. When she brought it up, I told her I couldn't afford it and she offered to pay the difference between POR and the Poly because she knows how badly I want to stay there, even if it is just for one night. I literally cried when she said that. So we might be switching to the Poly OR Boardwalk Villas if we decide the Poly is just too much.

I'm all for earlier transfers and transfering with a group of gals. There will be 3 of us so anything to save us all a buck or two would be FANTASTIC!!

Oh my goodness! That is sooooo sweet of your sister to do!!!!

Definitely we need to transfer together! It'll be fuuuuunnnn!!!!!

90 days! Woo hoo!!

I just sent out reminders to everyone who can check in online to go ahead and do it! You want to get the earliest arrival time you can! :)

If no one in your room has sailed before, you can do it on the morning of the 25th! :)

Check! 11:00 port arrival time for my crew! Woot!

@Disneyfalcon - it looks like a driver's license is okay for ID, right? Don't need a passport? :)

Driver's license AND birth certificate. You have to prove nationality/citizenship. The birth certificate has to be one of the official ones from the state you were born in, not the hospital souvenir type. It has to have the raised up seal/stamp. I think I read that it needs to state your parents' names on it, too. Can't be an abbreviated version. I may be dating myself with this but when I was born my mom received the super-official certficate as I described but she also received a plastic card version. The plastic card is like a credit card size, has my name, DOB, and a few other bits of info on it but not my parents' names. It says on the card itself "official birth certificate" but it hasn't been an acceptable version for a few years. In fact, I'm pretty sure I used it as part of my documentation to get my passport in 2010 but I know for sure if I was to try to use it for a passport again they'd refuse it in a flash.

...so a passport would be better than? :) Or easier, at least.

I can't access my personel e-mail from work, but I'm taking from this that I won't be able to do on-line check in until later this month?

Ugh, I totally forgot about all of that stuff. Looks like I have some errands to run this afternoon...

If you don't intend to travel internationally by air in the next ten years, you could just get a passport card, that's only $30 as opposed to the $110 for a passport. I know all this because over the weekend, I had to renew my hubby's passport so he can get on the plane when we go to Ireland in July.

I think I'm just gonna get the passport. But thank you for mentioning that! We always toy with the idea of international travel so it'll be good to have. :D In fact we were just discussing a trip to Europe for our 10th anniversary (in 6 years! Plenty of time to save) last night over dinner. A girl can dream.

But you know what Walt said, "if you can dream it, you can do it!!" ;)

It feels strange gearing up for a cruise and not having to do any of the check in process

Onto operation lose some weight before this cruise and get my passport started
You aren't off the hook entirely. I need each of my roomies ( @plaz10 & @Sans Souci! ) to login to our reservation on the website and make sure all your info is correct. Go over your personal contact info, your emergency contact person (I fudged it so I could get into the port arrival time part), your passport info, and I think you can put your own credit card in for yourself. If anyone needs help walking thru it I'm gonna go ahead and convo y'all my cell number in case you need me. Call me if you need me. I don't mind! Just seemed like it could be a little out there if I was having y'all give me your personal info including your passport and credit card numbers.

Operation lose some weight. I HEAR ya!!!!! Good Lord at the bikini pics from the cruise we just took. I'm soooo gonna not look that again if I can help it! Grrrrrrr!!!!!

Are we going to have another chat anytime soon? And also, do we have a final count as to who is going to be participating in the fish extenders? I want to get working on mine soon and parts of it I will need to know exactly who the gifts are going to as they will be a little bit personalized :D

Oh! BTW! My brother applied for new passports for himself & his 2 daughters just this spring. The turnaround for him was around 4 weeks or so if I remember correctly. Don't cut it that close, tho. Rule of thumb is like 6-8 weeks, I think. ;)

We DO need to have another chat! I'm so slacking on the FE list. Let me work on it tomorrow and I'll get a link for it (Google doc) out to everyone. K?

We will definitely chat one more time before the cruise. The summer is hard, but we'll just have to pick a day. Maybe the end of July beginning of August?
