On August 5, 2013 at 5:41PM my adventure as a father and the true beginnings of a family started. Willow Avery ********* was born 5lbs 15 ounces and 18 1/2" long. It's my wife and I's first child and we couldn't be more excited, nervous, terrified, happy, and in love with our new addition. Of all my accomplishments and events throughout my life nothing can compare to the first time I laid eyes on her. I'm head over heels for my little girl as she already has daddy wrapped around her finger. I'm also proud of my wife for being a trooper throughout the process. Both btw are doing fantastic and we hope to be discharged from the hospital late this afternoon.

and just think - in 14 or 15 years, she'll know more than you (or she'll think so anyway).

Enjoy fatherhood - it's a pretty good gig!

Beautiful baby. Congratulations to you & your wife on the new addition!

Interesting fact: Your baby shares the same birthday as Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon! (Yeah, I'm a bit of a nerd with stuff like that).

congratulations tell the wife it time to try for another. I did when our first child was born almost 17 years ago. I did just after her birth
( my wife knows in a joker) and the nurses gave me the evil eye my wife just laughed
