I’ve always browsed these boards for years, figured it is finally time to sign up & introduce myself!
I just moved (8.13.18) to Palm Beach County (FL).
It was a 19 hour car ride to become a Floridian (moved from PA, originally from NJ).
My husband while driving during this major move decided to surprise me with making us Platinum Annual Passholders.
I woke up from my nap, he said check My Disney Experience, I was in complete shock!
It’s the ONE thing I really wanted from this relocation. I always wanted to be an AP but sooner then later works for me!
Our commute to WDW is ~ 1.5 / 2 hours but it’s sooo worth it.
This is much more exciting considering I / we can go on days off & spend the day / weekend at the parks!!
We went last Friday (8.17) - Saturday (8.18) & now we are going Today (8.24) - Sunday (8.26).
My favorite property is Saratoga.
I’ll probably always call it “Downtown Disney” not Disney Springs.. just habit.
I have had trips to Disney & always stayed on property with DVC friends.
I’m always ready to learn more secrets, tips, & advice about future visits!
Maybe even meet up with some members in the future during a visit.
