Great update! I like the new format its great with the pics showing detail with your comments all together.

I am surprised to hear that the Osborne Lights are already in process of being set up. I thought they get turned on around Thanksgiving.

Yeah, the stages are for Night of Joy. Tonight is the first night, with tomorrow and Saturday nights following.

Good to hear the Speedway sign is up. Now it will be running all four tracks again!

Fantastic update...hmmm with only a month to go before my trip looks very doubtful I'll get into SGE.

Does all the down trees ruin the show...here's hoping it will be cleaned up by October.
Not one bit, especially at Animal Kingdom. It adds to the realism more. All the trees that were bent crooked and were leaning over in MK and other parks have been completely cut down, with just the stump left in the ground.

I'll post a few pictures of what I didn't post in the update, in my album. Click the link below.

Thanks again, Patrick, and thank you, Mission: Space for the updates on Lights, Motors, Action!
I'm also wondering if SGE will even be in previews when I'm there in Oct. It seemed probable a few months ago, but now I have serious doubts. Oh well, if it's not open when I'm there, I'll just have to go back!

When in October are you going? If it's late in the month, there's a possibility it MIGHT be in soft openings by then, but I wouldn't count on it. In late October it will be at the point that soft openings are a possibility, but any time before October 15, I really wouldn't count on it.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Patrick! I know the Speedway sign was gone for quite some time. And had a generic one to sorta replace it that stood outside. Good update btw! :)

Hey, great update! I like the the version 2.0. Fancy name of putting it that way. I just have one question: Excuse me for my ignorance, but where's "Splash" fountain in MGM? I have never seen it. :lookaroun

Mission: SPACE- Since I saw that in your sig that it mentions you are a Tomorrowland CM, do you if Imagineering has given SGE to Ride Operations crew, for the CM training to begin? My Dad's a CM, and he spoke to a new person where he works at who used to be a CM in Tomorrowland, and the new guy said that they are going to give SGE over to the Ride Operations within a few weeks. You don't need to answer this if you might get in trouble for saying something.

As of two weeks ago (b/c that was the last time I was in that area) Imagineers were still present and working diligently to have it ready in time.

As far as when it will be handed over to Operations... I haven't heard any specific date. But I'd imagine they'd at least have the preshows and one chamber ready within 2-3 weeks, so they've got some time to train, test, and adjust before soft openings and/or AP Passholder Previews.

Updates for MGM:

~The Millionaire fastpass distribution center had a construction wall around it.

They even removed the clocks for the Millionaire fastpass!

I believe this is the end of Millionaire. With Disneyland Millionaire closed, Disney World fastpass closed...I think this will be closing soon!!

I think so too. Millionaire has gotten old, and was a part of a cult classic thing, and only survived because of it's popularity. I'm starting to think that they shouldn't have done the attraction. If they realized it would be popular for short time period of only 2 years, I think then thye souldn't have done the show.
