Awesome updates! I think many people would agree in that you should attend the parks every single day you have off and post a nice daily update (I'm for real, lol). Man I wish I lived so close, it would be amazing and provide so much more time to try new stuff and not be rushed.

Hi Patrick-
Good luck on the job. One of your photos said it was a picture of the very last showing of Food Rocks. Does that mean that it is no longer there ? Or was it just the last show of the night. If it is closed , IASW and Food Rocks closed ? Whew ! I'm on a roll ! ( No pun intended - Food Rocks ) .
Food Rocks is now long gone and boarded up as part of the construction process of "Soarin".

You are Disney like? :veryconfu I am planning to work (No, work is hard. Being a CM is not work, it's a passion; what I have dreamed about for 36 years) at WDW in a few years, but look like one of the Country Bears--clothes and all. Is that Disney like? Keep your chin up and use pixie dust everyday and you'll get that job someday. :D

Great update, as usual. I'm sure you will be hearing back from them soon (probably closer to the fall), you would make a very dedicated CM.

Seems I missed you once again; oh well, maybe next time. (thats what I get for being lazy & sending the kids down to the snack bar. )

Great post as usual. Good luck with the job, I would love to work there one day, maybe when I retire.

I had a question. If you become a CM are you violating anything by posting what you post? The reason I ask is many companies will not let you and make you sign something saying you could be fired for it. It has happened a lot lately with people saying the wrong thing in a blog. The most notable was a Microsoft employee who took a photo and posted it of a truck unloading Macs at Microsoft.

Just thought I should ask so you are sure to know what you can and can't do. It would stink to get the job you dream about and lose it for doing something else you love which is talking about WDW.

Figment1986, What I was talking about was a Microsoft employee was fired this year for taking a photo of the back of a truck with some new Macs in the back. Microsoft says he was not fired because of the Macs as some people proposed. Microsoft admits to purchasing Macs for several reasons (they build software for them, they need to test the compititions products, etc). They say he was fired because the photo posed security risks as someone might be able to determine the location of the loading dock. I think they just wanted to shut the guy up.

Anyway, I was just saying that when he becomes an employee Disney might have rules about making statements about Disney, especially if they paint a picture of something in a negative manner. And I just wanted to have him look into it so he does not say anything wrong. I would hate to lose the job I dream about becuase of it. Don't get me wrong, I think that it is silly but it does exist.

Good luck, Patrick. As others have said, keep your hopes up.

But I do wonder if you will have to scale back your "updates" if you are hired. Bad for us, but good for you!
