I wondered about that, too, especially with the upcoming stunt show. Ringling Brothers Circus had the globe and first one, then two motorcycles would go inside and zip all around.
Are we sure that globe is the same thing?
I don't think so - too much daylight in there.
Well, it gives us something to wonder about anyway.

Yes that globe is defently for the Osbourne lights!!!! It is the one that spins and is a map of the world that points at Disney and The Osbournes lights!!!!!!tj229er said:

it was being stored in the Hunchback theatre and maybe they had to move it because they had to work on the facade and it was in the way.ISTCrew20 said:

Splash Mountain features seem to be extremely tempermental.
We were there in late July. On the Wednesday E-Ride, there was no hoping Brer and one of the fish was completely missing (not just not jumping, but gone). Came back on Friday night E-Ride and both were working fine.
Missing both times were the two bunnies talking just before you get to the hoping Brer'. I haven't heard them in a while, so maybe they just don't ever do that any more.
Also missing both times, the little waterfall after the big drop that makes sitting on the right side of the boat such a damp experience. Hope it was just out for the week. It's such a neat feature when you think you're finally safe!

That cage at MGM is for the Osborne Lights. It's the giant Globe that will be at the end of the street. And no, it's not too early for the lights to get started. Crews have been working for a couple of weeks now. Expect to start seeing installation beginning on the street this, or early next week.

The quality of each bust was varying, with some's picture very bright while the others were dark and grainy. It looks weird but nothing to big to worry about.
