Is there no nighttime parade in the MK anymore?

I guess I've been out of the loop for a while. Is there no longer any nighttime parade in the MK, even when there's no MNSSHP? Every time I've been at the MK (except maybe in the 70s - I don't remember!) we saw the Electric Light Parade. I never saw that one that replaced it. But now it looks like there's no "regular" nighttime parade?

WDW will have a nighttime parade for the 50th.

Budget cuts have led TDO to think it was okay not to have a nighttime parade.
It is something I have really missed on my last couple of visits.

Raising prices and cutting down the value (no night parade, raising already over-priced food, ticket and hotel prices, cutting staff and park hours, etc... ) is not a great business model.

The Electric Parade was something my grandkids loved. They were so disappointed last summer when it was no longer. My entire family missed it and don't understand why it was discontinued.

Wish they would bring it back soon-but not hopeful of that happening.

Because Disneyland wanted it back for a short period in 2016.

I'm more sad of the fate of Spectromagic. Unlike MSEP where it gained fanfare when it returned and did it's final performance at Disneyland. The same couldn't be said for Spectromagic once it left in 2010 with guests unaware that it will never return.


What's even sadder is that MSEP was originally only going to run at WDW for the Summer of 2010 with Spectromagic planned to return once MSEP finished running at WDW. But due to popular demand, MSEP stayed at WDW up till October 2016.

I disagree. The post concerning Specto Magic are informative and it is upsetting that TDO allowed their best ever night time parade (IMO) to wither in the manner they did. Well...upsetting in a first world problem kind of way, but upsetting nonetheless.

Unfortunately we don’t know this for sure. Yes it’s been rumored but with cuts taking place here and there who knows if those plans will get green lit, or if TDO even feels MK needs a nighttime parade again. If there is one coming I hope a announcement is made at D23 2019.
