Trying to appeal to the new generation gone a bit too far.what if...we put the hat on the theater?.....scumbag steve style.
First I just wanted to say "hi!" Because this is my first post, so hi!
I assumed they were just going to remove the hat for good and fix up the front of the theatre, but the other day I heard someone say they plan on replacing it. Anyone know what's happening?
At Least that's cooler than a pin shop. I wonder if the trademark landmark will be the theatre or the earfil tower now. There have been pretty strong rumors that some sort of "stage" will be going in it's place.
It's been a while since I've really explored HS, but the que for the Great Movie ride is the only place I can think of, that still has a few neat props or costumes from movies...and I mean a meager few.I always liked seeing all the movie props which was the main reason I was dissapointed when they closed the backlot tour. I'm hoping they still have an area like the AFI exhibit where you can walk around and see all the props and costumes and things.
I always liked walking through the aisles of props while waiting in line for Backlot haha I would've been content if that was the whole ride. It's been a while since I've really explored HS, but the que for the Great Movie ride is the only place I can think of, that still has a few neat props or costumes from movies...and I mean a meager few.
Yah with all the referbishments they're planning I'll be impressed if they don't end up with an odd time where ToT and Rockin Rollercoaster are the only rides open.random note. im amazed they closed backlot so early (as in before they were going to build anything) so they lowered capacity and haven't even begun to build anything.

You mean to tell me the wand that says "Disney IP Park" got shelved! It's not being replaced as the Chinese Theater is being decorated as a birthday cake instead.
It's so cool!!Just thought I'd drop these here:View attachment 89641
It looks like the stage hopefully won't be too tall.
