Why stop the copper from turning green? The copper roof needs to be allowed to tun green to be more accurate. I've heard horse urine helps copper turn green faster. Maybe they could splash some on there.

Actually got to see the beautiful sight today and I can't believe how great it was! Even better than all the pictures...you could see the theatre from the parking lot! And I did hear a family discuss what the"new ride" could be in the new big building. Unreal.

I suspect your'e right about the roof not being real copper, as it appears to have gotten less green over the years. The exact opposite of what should happen.

Consider this... It was never copper to begin with but just a painted facade to look like copper. They didn't do everything exact you know. I don't know but the patina on the current roof tells me that it isn't copper at all and never was. This would be good because it will give us a whole new topic to talk about how awful Disney has become (even though that happened back during the time everyone now considers the golden time), or how Walt is spinning in his grave or how maintenance has let down and not made the copper naturally oxidize properly.

Agreed - it might be accumulated grime, or it might just need painting.

It's relatively easy. You just have to wait out the crowds. Disney doesn't force people to leave, they just let them meander their way out. If you just grab a bench, get comfortable and wait you will be able to get this shot about 40 minutes after the last fantasmic dumps.
