Is Pixar owned by Disney? or are they 2 separate entities, I keep seeing people refer to them as separate

They are owned by Disney (since 2006), but I believe they are a separate operating entity....

They're all one company but after the acquisition they left their management and corporate structure alone. They're doing the same for Marvel. Why ruin a bad thing, eh? :shrug: I do know some people who wish Disney never bought Pixar, but they're masochists.
