Is Magic Kingdom about to get a new entertainment venue?

According to @dcharacternews over on Twitter, sounds like Magic Kingdom is about to get a new entertainment venue (sounds like a theater if you ask me). There are already a multitude of entertainment venues in MK (Castle Forecourt, Tomorrowland Stage), and sounds like this will be a new one.

According to the rumors, it's a Broadway-style theater so I'd imagine a large production but who knows with them? LOL. We STILL can't get updates to 30 year old shows at DHS ...

I would love this! They used to have a theater over in Tomorrowland and had the cutest show during MVMCP. I would love for them to be able to do things like this again. DL has a Fantasyland Theater and has done a number of fun shows there through the years.

A big ol' Broadway style theater with a high quality 45ish minute production put on several times a day would be quite welcome almost anywhere on property... (IMHO)

Perhaps a Toy Story musical. Definitely need more Toy Story. It wasn't palatable to Californians but would be perfectly acceptable in the park that still has CBJ.

Mickey and the Magic Map type thing would absorb some daytime capacity as opposed to tying up the hub and Main Street with unnecessary clutter. The FoF is one thing but the constant lesser quality Move It, Shake It, Avoid It detracts from Main Street in my opinion.

Who knows what they will do with who knows what and turn you know what into something that who knows that we don't know and then....well, it might not be such a magical day being welcomed home.

Yeah. That's why I am so surprised. DHS needs a new show way more.

I hope that whatever is built is done in a way that allows for future expansion around the northern part of the RoA. I know there is no plans for that at this time, but ideally in the future they'd add guest areas to the north of the river (connecting Frontierland and Liberty Square in those directions) which would add to guest flow and space in the park.
