Is it worth watching the Avatar movies before I go to Disney?

At first I didn't mind this. But the more I look at it, I'm beginning to worry that we may need to start making funeral arrangements for Will Smith's career.

You honestly don't have to watch the movie to enjoy the theming. It doesn't seem that connected to the only movie that's come out so far.

Geez James Cameron takes his sweet time. It's pretty bad when Disney can finish a project way ahead of someone.

I've never had an interest in Avatar, but is it necessary to know what's going on to fully enjoy the experience?

I don't think it ever hurts to see the film. Necessary? Not like Harry Potter, but you might as well spend an evening watching it.

LOL, Yep I doubt it will become the biggest money maker ever. Even magical wizard James Cameron has limits.
