Is It Too Early?

My family go some stuff for our June trip at Christmas(clothes, pins for trading new water bottles etc.) Well I pulled out a suitcase and packed that stuff and added my Figment pack and pin lanyards. I have a place to leave the bag out to add to. Is it to early to start preparing.

Nope! Almost DH and I are about to pull out our suitcases today and were going months after you!!! It helps keep our trip stuff together and accounted for and of course it's fun!!
Yepppppp!!!!!!!! SO agree with this its never too early. We normally head down in the fall and come the end of August, I start packing and making lists for what I need! I start packing *must have* Disney stuff... (for instance, wdwmagic tshirts ;) ) as I pack stuff I cross them off the list. So the answer to your question... nope, not too early.... its just one less worry you will have a week out.

Like Pooh's Buddy said, if you have the room for a suitcase to be out, go for it! I always have what I call a "staging area" going in a spare bedroom for my next trip (a cruise in May and WDW in September.) If I didn't, I'm sure something would get left behind. Besides, you can visit the room any time and get excited about your upcoming trip by adding things to it or just looking thru what you've accumulated. Have fun!

Maybe I need to clean up our spare bedroom for a better use.

Up to you. Theere have been times I was packed way before necessary, especially when we were going in january.. I would just throw shorts and tanks and swimsuits in the suitcase instead of putting it away for the season.

That's what I used to do for our February trips too. Beats putting everything away, then digging it out again a few months later!

Were leaving in 11 months and I just started a small bag of things for our trip.. a gift card, mickey pin backs, bread tie tabs for flip flops (genius idea by the way) and our reservation confirmations. So i'm going to say your good to start otherwise I'm going to look like a nut.

I think it is never to early to start getting ready for your trip. Like Pooh Lover I keep my suitcases in my guest room. I usually make a list of everything I need and as I put things in the suitcase I cross it off my list. I dont like to pack at the last minute as I feel like I am go to forget something.

I don't do my suitcase that early (bless your hearts for being so organized!) but I do have envelopes and binder on our desk where I keep GCs we get (along with photocopies in case they get lost), and any other planning or vacation info. we have or need. There are certain things I'll want to bring on our next trip, like my daughters Princess Mickey ears and some of her princess outfits, so I will most likely put those aside to make sure we have them. I don't have enough room in my house to have our suitcases out that early!
