Is it possible to do more than one whip ride in any one resort?

Can the whip ride system be duplicated within a resort?

In most of the Disney resorts now, there is at least one "whip"-type ride, where you sit in small cars that are hauled around by some mechanism that whips your car around some course. To wit, they are (or will be in the future) the following:
  • Mater's Junkyard Jamboree (Disneyland Resort (CA Adventure))
  • Woody's Round-Up (Shanghai Disneyland)
  • Alien Swirling Saucers (WDW (Hollywood Studios) and Disneyland Paris Resort (Walt Disney Studios Paris))
  • Big Hero 6 ride (name yet to be determined) (Tokyo Disney Resort (Tokyo Disneyland))
I have been tempted to add another one of these rides (the whip technology, I mean) to the Magic Kingdom (in a theme yet to be announced), but I've been hesitant on the grounds of the system already at the resort, in another park. Is it possible to duplicate the ride system in another park in the same resort?

Absolutely it’s possible! Look how many Circle Visions/ slow boat rides you see in EPCOT. Look at all the spinners in Magi Kingdom. There’s a few Omnimover too. As long as the theme is different, the reuse system can be the same!

If that's the case, though, how come it seems like only one is permitted per resort? I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just wondering why they aren't doing it more often.

Could be lots of reasons. One is being added to every new land that's being built (besides SWL) so because it is a newer idea they are slowly implementing them into the parks!

There is one being added to every resort (except for HKDL right now), but my question is, is it possible to have one in more than one park per resort (i.e., one in, say, the Magic Kingdom as well as the Studios)?

Yes. It is new, so they are rolling it out slowly. If it is popular and versatile, they will continue to use it in more and more parks throughout the globe and at the same resort. That is true of any ride system. but especially cheaper flat rides. Which is something Disney desperately needs more of to spread out crowds without spending a billion dollars for every attraction.
