With the announcement of Indy 5 (and the potential of endless joke titles clogging up other threads) I figured there would be a good place to have thoughts on what the next film should (and shouldn't) do.
This is wishful thinking, but I think a way to have a believable, age appropriate Harrison Ford performance in a adventure story is to consider a combination story with another franchise.
The 30's films were in the tone of swashbuckling serials. The 50's film had a nod towards the sci-fi of the era. What was one of the things that the 60's were known for?
Spy films. Matt Helm. Derek Flint. Oh, and Bond...
Imagine Indy teaming up with a 60's period James Bond....
