This says the incident was thankfully a false alarm due to an escalator failing at the train station which although not terrorist related is still pretty scary if you’ve seen the accident on the Rome metro

The cause of the panic was a broken escalator by the train station; it made noises that freaked people out. Some ran out of the park, others were sheltered in place as per protocol.

Police and military responded; declared "false alarm." Minor injuries reported.

There was no explosion and no shooting!
