Illuminations Inferno Barge

We saw Illuminations last night and the Inferno Barge was not present (or at least not functioning).
This was my first time seeing Illuminations since this past Dec. and I haven't heard anything about it being out of the show since. Anyone know if this was a one-time thing, or if it's something more?

It has been out of the show since April 26th for refurbishment.
Sould be back this week or next.

Anyone have details on what's being done other than a basic refurbishment? Is there any indication of enhancements, like adding the fire whips from World of Color?

Considering what that barge goes through, it's amazing it performs as it does. It surprises me that it doesn't need rehab more often.

They did testing on the Inferno last night. It looks good, planning on being in the show on Friday.

Good to hear. We arrive next week, and my friend hasn't been to Epcot since the days of original IllumiNations (perhaps IllumiNations25). I was hoping that they were still close to being on-schedule.

Glad to hear it's back in all its glory.
I was worried that it had succumed to either a failure, or another budget-cutting initiative. I'm happy that neither of my thoughts were true!
