If you could only do one Character Meal ...

Goofy's Liberate Your Appetite Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. It's one of my favourites. Good food and a fun time with the characters. Gotta love any meal with the chipmunks. Plus I love Minnie's outfit. And Goofy's a hoot. We were there for the Halloween party, my friend and I were the only grown up princesses and Goofy kept hitting on my friend everytime he passed our table. :D

I've never done a character meal without my kids being there. My favorite is prabably the Crystal palace for breakfast... just because it is always our traditional starting spot. Since we always make a reservation for the earliest time possible, we get into the MK early and have a nice walk down Main Street alone.

74 days until I get to expericnce that tradition again.

Oops, forgot to add some information ... I'd like an adult beverage with it :o

Mimosa with breakfast or wine and the like for dinner. Anything in MK would be out of the question.

That is definetly my favorite, and Goofy is the greatest to have hitting on you whenever he passes your table :D

how about Chef Mickey's? always a good time with Mickey & pals. or Akershus with the princesses...they let loose a bit more with an adults only party. Aurora told me all about her cute prince, the waiter, and the girls were all very flirty flirty with my brother. :ROFLOL:

I don't know if they still have it, but the last time we were at WDW my kids went on behind the scenes tours and my DH and I went resort hopping with the help of the monorail. We started at the Contemporary and had a delightful breakfast with the characters. It was a blast, we didn't have any adult beverages, we saved that for lunch but the breakfast buffet at the CR was delicious. But like I said, I'm not sure they still have it. Also the other CB that we went to was at the Living Seas. Mickey was in the tank with the fish and the kids thought it was great that he was scuba diving. Goofy and Minnie was there too. Wonderful time.

With the new information, I'd say 1900 Park Fare. Very good buffet food and from what I remember, a decent adult beverage selection.

Friends of ours were there brefore Christmas. They were telling us that the stepsisters picked a single female out of the crowd and tried to convince Prince Charming that she was better for him than Cinderella... so if lucky, you might get a date/dance with the Prince.

1900 Park Fare sounds fun. We are going in Oct. and were thinking of trying it for the first time. It is one of the few we haven't done before. I thought I had read that Alice was there, is that true for all meals, or just breakfast? We are looking at doing dinner and it would be fun to see her. Thanks.

Hmmm, Prince Charming, eh? Always wanted one of those :zipit:

Looks like 1900 Park Fare for dinner it is (I'll skip Mama Melrose); maybe I'll slip in Chef Mickey's as well for breakfast one day and pay OOP. That way I can hit both the GF and CR for dining while at the Poly!

Thanks everyone!

Okay (RussJT take note, we may just be "dining together" :ROFLOL:)

Got 1900 Park Fare for dinner at 5:10 on the second; Chef Mickey's at 7:30 am on the 4th (yay, I think I'll actually make the rope drop!)

Again, much thanks everyone!
