I only picked what was available on the 2011 dining plan so far, hence why there is nothing from Downtown Disney (I believe externally owned restaurants take longer to confirm their presence to the dining plan)

Is Ohana really loud ? It seems like a great choice, but i'm going with the in-laws (60+) and they would prefer a good meal in a quiet, well-themed place

From what's on your list, I picked Ohana. Probably my fav of the choices.

But I would go with Artist Point any day. I really like the food and atmosphere there.

In that case, as much as I love Kona, I would choose somewhere else. It can be a bit loud & there really isn't a whole lot of theming.

Let me ask you this, please: Are you at all restricted by only using Disney transportation, or will you have your own car? Some resorts, obviously, are easier to get to than others if you don't have a car. If getting there is not an issue, Boma is one of the must-go-to restaurants. My wife and I went there on our first trip, it was in fact our first dinner, and we were staying at AKL. But we've gone there for every trip since then.

And for 2011, Raglan Road, Planet Hollywood, Cap'n Jack's & Wolfgang Puck Cafe are apparently confirmed as being table-srvice restaurants on the dining plan. At the very least, they're listed that way over at allears.net (scroll to the bottom of the page for all participating restaurants of all stripes - quick service, full service, Signature AND snacks)

What meal are you going there for? If you're going for breakfast (characters), there may be a parade with the kids and that is a little loud.

I voted for Sanaa. I have had just about everything on the menu, though cast events and discounts and it is amazing. I was not expecting a lot, because I am not a fan of Boma. I find the food at Boma bland and disgusting. Sanaa has an amazing blend of unique flavors and is the MOST stunning setting I have ever seen. I ate there, literally 7 feet from a family of giraffes overlooking the best Savannah that DAKL has (Sunset). Give it a try. It's so worth it!

There are a few loud restaurants on your list. . . Whispering Canyon is a misnomer. ESPN Club is loud. . .

Ohana is not quiet - the kid parades go on at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dinner

and to answer all the questions..

We are using disney transportation only

and we're also looking for a regular one credit table diner experience
(we are on the regular dining plan and we plan to have seated dinner every night)

Also, the restaurants missing from the list are not currently listed on the 2011 dining plan, hence why I didn't include them
