If a reservation is canceled but you have another, what happens to your ADRs?

Quick question for those with experience:

OK, here's the situation. My family went to Disney for a week's vacation, so, I grabbed the keys to the brand-new Porsche...

Oh, wait -- that's a DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince song, not my life.

Here's the real situation:
1 - We made a reservation with a TA for 11/14-11/21 -- 7 nights at CBR with 8-day tickets.
2 - The free dining offer opened, for arrivals starting 11/15. I stumbled on an available one, and booked myself for 11/15-11/21 -- 6 nights at CBR with 8-day tickets. In order to stem the gap from pushing the arrival date forward by a day when we're still arriving 11/14, I then made a room-only reservation at CBR for the night of 11/14. So technically, we'll end up with a split stay with two different "180-day" ADR windows, even though we won't actually be changing resorts or hopefully even rooms -- one for 11/14, and then 11/15-11/21.
3 - I arranged with my TA to transfer the new reservations over to her, and cancel the initial one, and filled out a change form for her to submit to Disney to that effect.

As of this morning -- 180 days from 11/14, my TA has submitted the change form to WDW, but it hasn't been processed yet, so I still have all three reservations showing in my MDE account. It dawned on me this morning that this means I can still make ADRs today for the whole trip (rather than just our arrival day) and don't have to wait until tomorrow to book ADRs for the subsequent days, because our entire length of stay is still covered by that initial reservation.

So I got online around 8am and made my ADRs. My question is: once Disney changes my latter two reservations over to my TA and she cancels the first one, my ADRs won't be affected, will they? I'm not trying to do anything underhanded (I am still arriving on 11/14 and staying 7 nights: it will just be under 2 reservation numbers instead of one), but I don't want to screw anything up.

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Relax...dining reservations are not tied to resort reservations. Resort guests can book 180 + 10 (like you did) but even if you cancel your resort reservation that same day your dining will not be affected. It is solely the guest's responsibility to cancel dining ADRs.

Thanks, Tuvalu!

Hi WeatherLady, I see this is an old post; what happend? Did you keep you get it changed & ADRs?
I'm in a similar boat: I called WDW before my ADR date and the CM said I couldn't have one confirmation number; it would count as two stays with two different ADR dates. I think that is unfair since I am staying on property the full stay (my initial reservation couldn't add one more night - it was fully booked!) I wonder how are resort reservations not linked to dining? WDW properties offer the 180+10 feature, so wouldn't many people book a resort, get all their hard to get ADRs then cancel and stay off-site cheaper?
I booked two resorts overlapping to fit in all our dates. I haven't called back to change yet, I'm hoping to get some information before I call. thanks!

The ADR system doesn't recognise two back to back reservations. That's just the way it is, unfortunately.

For FPs, the good news is you will get to book them for the length of all stays at the 60 day mark.
