Ideas for best transport solutions from back of Epcot to front of Epcot

.....or vice versa.

Right now, you can easily get from DHS to Epcot World Showcase, and from the front of Epcot to the Magic Kingdom, yet other than traversing the...quite long path through Epcot directly and going inside the park itself, there's no good transport options, other than just taking a bus directly from DHS to MK (yawn).

Thinking about if they want to integrate another transport system, what could feasibly work?

- Another gondola station next to the Monorail?
- A Peoplemover?
- Another Monorail extension? (very doubtful)
- Something else?

Thoughts?

I'm not so sure there is an ideal option.

- Monorail is an instant no as it will never happen due to the cost.
- Skyliner is far too slow, and cant go across the middle of world showcase, by the time you've routed it around the outside of the park its probably going to be quicker to walk
- Peoplemover has the same placement issues, plus likely has a heavy cost due to land clearing being needed

I vote for a fleet of segways with a horn on the front.

It's quicker to walk IF you have a ticket to get into Epcot. Yes, technically right now you can park hop after 2PM and get into Epcot then go to another park but we know how that can change.

To better show, if we were to do gondolas, and maybe not at this sharp of an angle, it wouldn't need to go very far, this is just to the bus drop off area.

Six Flags Over Texas has a little train that goes around the park and stops in different places. If lil' ole hillbilly Six Flags can afford a cool train, so can Epcot.

And doesn't MK have a train? I have heard it does. :p

So does (did?) Fort Wilderness

SOMETHING THAT RUNS IN ANY WEATHER! One huge problem is if at the end of a long day you are ready to take the skyliner back to your motel and it is not running due to weather and you are told the only option is to walk all the way back to the front for the busses. At the very least they need to run busses to the skyliner served motels from some point in the back.

The obvious choice is to just slightly reroute the road and expand the canal so that boats can stop at the front. It's probably the cheapest and most sensible option.

The Skyliner station is much closer to the front of the park than you think it is.
