Idea to make Tron longer

The Tron ride is great, but the most common criticism is it doesn't last long enough.

While I somewhat agree, I don't believe the "fast" portion needs to be any longer. That intensity is only good for a short burst, in my opinion.

They could, however, lengthen the duration of the pre-launch portion, as well as the last slow portion, without adding any track.

The red sections of track below would represent added show scenes, slightly slower vehicle motion, and potential short stoppages. New lighting effects, scenery, 3D tech, robots, or animatronics could be added here.

Right now, the pre-launch portion is 0:25 long, the "fast" portion is 1:00 long, and the last slow portion is :30 long, for a total of 1:55. You could add 0:30 to both ends of the ride and get in the same neighborhood as Cosmic Rewind (3:10) or Space Mountain WDW (3:00).

We all can agree that it's way too short especially considering the queue length/duration, but I don't see any major structural modifications being implemented. More imagineering forum than anything else. The power of what could be vs what is.

Yes it's not arguable that it goes by too fast. Disney built it on the budget they were allotted and many times even when plans are in place things get scaled back due to money constraints. There are many builds that we would like to see done better than what we get, but it's not in our control. Be happy we got something new.
Dis isn't about to change their ways or alter Tron at this point. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.
