Iago and Zazu's Attraction of the Week

In honor of Gilbert Gottfried's passing, I thought I would share something with you from the old days of the Internet...

Like many people, I was never fond of Iago and Zazu invading WDW's Tiki Room and making a travesty of a classic: Iago obsessively vowing to spice things up at the Tiki Room so he can make tons of money, and no Tiki God is going to stop him. In his book "Realityland", David Koenig even thought of this as a metaphor for the Eisner regime after Frank Wells' passing, showing Eisner as obsessed with the bottom line to the exclusion of all else. Fortunately, Disneyland's Tiki Room never suffered such an indignity as what WDW suffered, and for that, as a Disneyland person, I will be forever grateful.

However, if there's anything good that came out of the invasion of the Tiki Room, it was this old website whose appearance online kind of comes and goes, so it can be tricky to spot. It's called "Iago and Zazu's Attraction of the Week", and the only way to access it is with the Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20030416011110/http://www.emuck.com/aotw/index.html.

It's basically a fan page from the late '90s, which was apparently created to coincide with the two birds invading the Tiki Room, which involves humorous history lessons on various Disney attractions, mostly from WDW, but a small handful are from Disneyland, too.

The link above is to the archived version, but if possible I would like to share some of the scripts of the pages on the forum itself.
