In case any NYers aren't aware, Optimum (Cablevision) is giving a credit to anyone who lost power and was without service as a result of the storm. I was without power for 9 days and received a $30 credit to my bill. :D

I'm sure there are other TV, phone and internet providers that are offering the same sort of credit so it's worth checking out (and transferring the savings to your "Disney Fund").

I don't live in New York, as I am obviously a Floridian.
However....can I, um, borrow thirty bucks? Pal?

It's in the mail. ;)

I'll expect some mangoes in the mail - whenever mango season is.
Generally speaking, August. My tree, however, is not at an age that will allow me to grab that big bumper crop that you seem to be expecting. Perhaps I could send you a slice of mango, along with a guava pastry.

DEAL! I've never had a guava pastry but it sounds delightful.

Mmm...guava pastry. No one can eat just one, so I'll send two.

I got my refund from Fios back in November. Spent it on a nice dinner at a place that was doing great work for the community after the storm. Girlfriend and friends got theirs from Optimum pretty quick too.

I should tell my mom she can still request a refund even though she never bothered to do it back when I told her right after the storm.
