Hurricane Eta to impact central Florida, tropical storm warnings posted

Hurricane eta is forecast to make landfall north of Tampa bay by Thursday, bringing widespread tropical storm force winds throughout the central Florida region. As of 10am, many central Florida countries are posting tropical storm warnings... although at the moment these do not include Orange County or WDW.

Not expecting any closures, but if you’re in the area expect a very wet and breezy Thursday that may affect travel / flights.

Little change in the 4pm updates. Pretty gusty rain bands have already been felt through much of the region as the wind field edges onshore.

WDW is in a zone forecast to have sustained wind impacts up to 57mph, but still falling short of true tropical storm force:

Yea, it was anti-climatic. But this was a strange storm throughout its existence so I figured I'd take in my 2 yard chairs and flip my outside table over
