Hurricane Doors?

Was there anyone at the Comtemporary last night? Did they actually close the hurricane doors over the monorail openings? Would be cool if someone had a picture of this rare event.

I remember reading that they were their.... but i never seen them ever. However I would think they had them down... didn't they have monorails in their...

I've stayed at The Contemporary Resort 7 times and I go out on the observation deck every time and I've never noticed any Hurricane doors.

I guess I need to pay closer attention...I'll look a little harder next time I go in May. :lol:

In the event of a hurricane, the Disney's Contemporary Resort hotel can hold 4 monorail trains inside, then close its hidden storm doors to fully enclose the exposed portions of the tracks.

Not heard of these before...although its a very cool idea...will have to check these out next time we visit
