HOWL-O-SCREAM...is it worth it?

We will be going to Sera World in October and were wondering if HOWL-O-SCREAM is worth the extra ticket costs?
We originally planned to go to MNSSHP, but after recent 'developments' at Disney, we have decided to keep Disney OUT OF OUR TRIP PLANS!
Please give advice for going to the park during the day and HOWL-O-SCREAM in the evening. Or should we plan 2 days at Sea World...1 for Park 1 for HOWL-O-SCREAM? What time does HOWL O SCREAM start/end? if you do the park during the day do you stay in the park when HOWL O SCREAM starts (like MNSSHP)? Any advice, suggestions, or help would be appreciated!

Is HOS worth it? Sort of. It's not bad. It's not particularly good either. It just sort of exists, largely as a decent addition (not alternative) to the significantly more crowded HHN. If you enjoy one, there's a reasonable chance you'll enjoy the other, but not necessarily for the same reasons. Be aware it's nothing like MNSSHP.

The event officially begins at 7:00 but they start letting people through ticketing earlier. Keep in mind the event's entrance is in a different location from the park's.

There is a holding area at the Waterfront if you're already in the park. Whether or not it's actually worth it to try doing everything at SeaWorld in one day is a question only you can answer. You'd know your stamina better than us.
