how to thank a great cast member..

recently we got some super service from Guest services over the phone.. How can we thank them and know that it gets to them and their supervisor.. Because this guy went above and beyond for us.. plus it always seems that we have one or two cast members each trip that go beyond their service for us.. what is the best way to do this.. thanks for playing. . I really appreciate this forum..

We pick a "top three" cast members every trip and send an email. As said above, if someone really impresses you make note of their nametag. It will have their name and where they are from. "John from New York" and the location they were working will help them identify the right cast member.
Whatever comments you send are put in the CMs "folder" and can have influence their future at WDW.

We don't tweet but did use Twitter while on our trip in December just so we could do this. Someone from Disney responded to each tweet and a couple of them included a picture of the cast member with their certificate. It really was nice to know that our complement reached the cast member.

All the above plus the best thing is to go to guest relations and ask for the card. You just fill in the blanks, a manager WILL get with the CM and give'm an atta boy and yes it does go on their permanent record card

Does the twitter method only work with parks/resort CMor could we do this on upcoming DCL? We’ e always filled out the surveys at the end and named our dining staff/room attendant but wonder if it gets to them or not.
