I am going to make ADRs soon for my upcoming trip and I have never thought about nut have decided to make all my breakfast ADRs before park openings and they will be at about 7:30-8:30am and park buses don't start running till an hour before which means buses don't run till 8:00 or 7:00 with EMH, but how will I get to the resort if there are no buses?

In which resort will you be staying, and where are your ADR's?

In seeing your list of potential breakfast ADR's and almost all are at a resort, I would definitely use a taxi.

Keep in mind, you are under 180 days (actually at about 120 days out), and you may possibly have some issues getting the more popular locations already.

Taxi! You can call from your room to the front desk and they can transfer you directly to Mears. They have always saved us time and effort. I've called 30 minutes to the night before and set up cab arrangements.

If the resorts are Contemporary, Poly, or GF, check to see whether MK has morning Extra Magic Hours. When I stayed at POFQ, I had a 7:30 ADR at Kona Cafe in the Poly. Buses starting running from POFQ at 6:30. I boarded the first bus for MK. I could have gone to MK and/or TTC, then taken the monorail but, as an added bonus, since I was the only passenger, the bus driver radioed ahead to dispatch that he would drive me straight to the Poly, which he did.

During that same week, I had an ADR at the Contempoary for dinner on one day and at Boma for breakfast on my check out day. I just drove. As you may know, there are gates at the entrance to every resort. At the time, they requested my KTTW card for proof that I was staying at another resort. Perhaps they scan for MBs now. But you can still request an KTTW card anyway. I, personally, wouldnt spend the extra money for a taxi.

You can drive yourself, if you have access to a car. You could take a cab - all the Disney hotels have cab stands.

I wouldn't trust the busses to get me there on time, but that's me. You could give it a shot. The bus will usually get you there on time. :)

You don't have to be staying in a Disney hotel to visit a Disney hotel. No KTTW or wristband is required.

All you have to do is give your name (if you have a dining reservation) or show them your license (if you're just visiting.)

I have visited Disney hotels hundreds (if not thousands) of times. You need not be staying Ina Disney hotel to do it. :)

The only time hey hassle anyone is when a politician is there. If that happens, you have to be staying in that hotel or have a dining reservation to get in.

Thanks for the clarification. Actually, I told the CSR gate I was on my way out of town and needed to use up a gift card at the CSR gift shop before leaving. Good enough for them -- another guest spending money at WDW.

Spending money is Disney's favorite Guest Behavior, lol. :)

I go to the hotels a lot, lol.

I should've mentioned another exception - sometimes the Epcot area hotels (e.g. BWI, Beach Club) will refuse parking to people because they're too busy. This is especially true for some Food & Wine days. But when they refuse, they refuse everyone who isn't staying there or dining with an ADR.)

As stated, park buses will start running at around 6:30AM. So for the Poly, GF, or Contemporary just take the MK bus. The driver may drop you off directly, or you may need to transfer to the monorail to the MK. For Cape May you can take the DHS bus and walk over (don't recall if the boats are running then). The only other breakfast I can think of worth making ADRs for is AKL, that one is probably easiest to take a cab.

You can always take a taxi - but I've had ADRs in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom at 8:05 (when the park didn't open until 9) and a Segway Tour at 7:45 am at EPCOT (park opened at 9) and we took Disney buses each time and got there in plenty of time to take pictures of empty park and get to breakfast. We usually went out about an hour before and were able to get a bus.

We had a bus driver or 2 say "Uh...you know EPCOT doesn't open until 9, right?" And we'd say "yeah we have an ADR/tour scheduled" and he was like OK.

If you're worried you can always grab a cab - they can set it up at front desk. :) hope this helps

Speaking of taxis...does anyone know the cost of a roundtrip taxi from ASMo to the Hess station across from Hollywood Studios?

I've heard about taking the bus to DTD and walking to the Hess station there, however for saving time, seems a taxi would be quicker.
