How much DID Disney spend on Attractions?

My question is how much did Disney spend on in past years. With the U.S. economy allegedly in a recession, does Disney actually less than previous years for attractions? According to Wikipedia, Horizons cost approx. $60 million when it was built in 1983, and I've heard Big Thunder Mountain cost approx. $17 million when it was built in 1980, but most numbers seem to be kept secret. Does Disney spend more or less than it used to, taking inflation in consideration? It would be very interesting to see actual numbers, if anyone knows them.

No one who knows them can say but on a whole it seems they spend more to get less. That`s the way of the world today. Things are more expensive.

And yes, Horizons was around $65m to open, and BTM in WDW was $17m.

It makes sense that BTMRR was so inexpensive, seeing as how it was really only built as a quick fix to get people to come to WDW before Epcot opened. Horizons, on the other hand, was supposed to be one of the best Epcot attractions.
