How Is This Achievable ???

Hitting the new Starbucks - a lot! I guess Red Bull, if you drink those sorts of drinks (I do not).

I would be loading up on espresso and the mocha variant. Along with lots of water.

I guess this is less of an issue at MK, but you have to stay away from the alcohol. That will completely drag you down.

And small, light meals. No pasta!! I once did a 36 hour straight stretch at work. Toward the end I ate a bagel and nearly keeled over. The carbs were like a shot of a sleeping agent.

Ok folks, Iam scratching my head on this one..As most of you will have read on here..MK is having a 24 hour party from 6.00am till 6.00am... Has anyone out there done one of these advents, and if so,how did you achieve it.? Now Ive been up at 6.00am at Disney to have a early breakfast and hit a rope drop, but come midnight,I'am shattered. Now that includes a swim and chill out period back at my resort..So what's the plan of attack to stay the distance..???
I think if rope drop is a must, do it, have a coffee on main street and make it a resort day. Take a nap, have dinner, espresso, then pull the night time portion. The only time I pulled an all nighter at Dis was Grad Night- but I slept the entire day!

My plan would be to spend the first 12-14 hours with the little ones doing a lot of meet and greets, hidden Mickey searching, watching shows, parades, pin trading, Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique, the Pirates Club, the new pirate interactive game, kiddie rides, character dining at Crystal Palace (the Pooh Parade can eat a chunk of time where the kids have fun while you get to rest), maybe get the kids a haircut, ride the train a full circuit around the park, etc.
After the kiddies retire to the hotel I would spend the last 8-10 hours with the remaining adults doing the more grown up activities. Coasters, Presidents, Mansion, POTC, shopping, fireworks, etc. .... Just no turkey legs after midnight!!!

I would love to try it but, I just can't imagine it without passing out eventually! I don't know how hot it is expected to be, but if it surpasses 80 Degrees, I'm done by midnight. It's just to darn long to stay in the heat! However if it remained a decent 72 Degreees, I'm satisfied. I would take the entire day slow, don't push getting to the next attraction and take moments to sit down to chat. I'd find a ride like the PM and relax. When a burst of energy is required, take a plunge in Spash Mountain or trip to Space Mountain. I just wouldn't take it to slow or to fast, keep the walking pace. I probably still wouldn't survive but, I would survive longer. The only way I would make it throughout the entire night, is by sleep the entire afternoon. This little princess need the occasional beauty sleep!

I think the easy way to do a 24 hour stint is just about who you share the time with. some folks drain each other down and other pairings rev one another laughing and going to crazier things more and more.

also while you CAN do twenty four hours why keep going if your ores an the fun has stopped? I think it's probably best to enjoy 16 hours than to force yourself on 24 hours just to say you did it. if that's all ya care about you might as well just stay on splash mountain the entire time, changing your pose on the picture ever so slightly so you can make it a flip book. 2 birds one stone, one very large tiring stone

Hmm...If I thought pulling all-nighters were hard, then staying up for 24 hours would be even harder! I'm not sure how people did it last year. I, for one, am unable to do it physically and finanically but all I can really say is those who are doing the 24 hour challenge, best of luck!

Did it last year and the staying up wasn't the hard part, it was the toll it took on my feet...lots of CoP and TTA. Dining reservations for lunch and dinner also help, as it is nice to be able to sit down for a while. The hard part was that it was not very busy in the morning, we had knocked out everything in Tomorrowland by 8:00am and it didn't really get insanely busy until after the parades at night. Lots of water and caffeine as well.

The only way I'd be interested in spending 24 hours at MK would be in the context of some kind of challenge, like doing every attraction. Honestly, I can't imagine that taking 24 hours to accomplish, unless crowds were ungodly. Assuming everything stayed open the whole time, I would think you could knock out just about everything between midnight-4 a.m.

You all scaring me! We have no choice but to go to MK that day:(...our travel plans could not be changed and we couldnt tell the kids no. Anyway we are going to try to make rope drop, midday nap and then back. We have never really had crowds on our trips and I am getting really stressed! We have a 8,7,4 and 3 year old and I am pregnant...HELP!

Ugh!!! I'm getting old because I could never ever do that!! Heck at home, I'm ready to curl up at 10!

Today we did putt putt, batting cages, red robin for lunch, and walked 3 miles this evening and I'm about to drop where I'm at! And it's not even 9! I'm getting old for sure! :/
