Hi, just got back from 8 days at WDW and I did not feel the parks were empty. In fact they seemed busy too me. There was moments at some parks (not MK), that seemed slightly low on crowds. What I saw more was lack of Fast pass running and wait times that were not acturate (said 10 min when it was more like 20 or no wait time listed at all and no cast member in sight to let you know how long it was.) While we did not spend a lot of time in lines, we skipped the bussiest time, the parks were not empty at all.

I've been to Epcot a couple times this month as well as MK and MGM and noticed no lines longer than 10 minutes. The fast pass was closed for everything I remember except Pooh. The parks are very nice and quiet.

Just to follow up what Mrs. PhD said earlier, Epcot was the least crowded of all the parks, although I will say that with an almost 2 year old in tow we didn't go there very often. MK was by far the most crowded of the 4 parks, but even MGM and AK seemed a bit more crowded than past years. As is often the case the parks were pretty quiet first thing in the morning, but by mid afternoon crowds had definitely picked up. Friday, stand-by wait times were in the 40 to 60 minute range for BTM, Splash, Pooh and Peter Pan. Even 'its a small world' had a 15-20 minute wait. I'm not saying it was packed, but the place wasn't empty either.

Hi MinnieFan, the trip was good except for a bit of rain the first weekend and an ear infection in little PhD during the first few days. We'll have more on it later. DVC is a great way to go.
