How busy on Run Weekend?

After booking our first visit to DLP in late September, I learned that the Run Weekend will be at the same time as our visit. Does this event bring in big crowds?

After booking our first visit to DLP in late September, I learned that the Run Weekend will be at the same time as our visit. Does this event bring in big crowds?

Weekends are often very busy because of local passholders; the Run Weekend will have some impact, but these events are much smaller than the WDW weekends. If you are staying in one of the DLP hotels and planning to walk through the Village, be aware that you may be stopped to let runners go by. My experience has always been that crowds are low on Friday and Monday of the Run Weekend.

Be aware that the weather that time of year is very unpredictable and you should plan accordingly.

The Saturday and Sunday of run weekend will be incredibly busy - the Saturday in particular has some of the highest crowds I've ever seen at DLP.

Other days should be quiet.
