Unfortunately, I missed most of the game cuz I was working MNSSHP. I also missed that fabulous final homer cuz I was driving home
But, I saw the replay on the sports channel when I got in and did my little dance of joy about ten minutes too late!!!!!!:lol:

the Red Sox need to sell out like the Yankees did (merchandisewise.... NY Yankees has the largest variety)... then buy the pennant, NY style. Beat them at their own game

It has to do with WDW because Yankees are winners and a class act as is everyone on this board who loves Disney:kiss: There is always next year!! It's just a game and unless you are the owner how does this change or affect anyone's life?? I love the Yankees and always will but come on, my nephew was on anti-riot patrol with ROTC at his college because Red Sox fans don't know how to behave. He signed up to fight for his country against enemies of the USA foreign and domestic but I don't think he planned on having to defend it against Red Sox fans...:lookaroun

Ya know...I wasn't going to come on Magic because I knew that all the Yanks fans would be gloating...and this post (along with another you've made in the Red Sox thread has made me come to the conclusion that I am proud to be a Red Sox fan...at least after the Series...with Oakland...and the Yankees...Red Sox fans appreciate the series and appreciate both teams and respect them...but there is just no respect that can be given to a fan that knocks down another team because they lost...I understand that you're happy...and I'm not just saying this because I'm a die-hard Red Sox fan...I'm saying this because I enjoy baseball...and I know my avatar says "Yankees SUC..." but ya know...it's just a saying...kinda like the Brave's chant... You guys make it seem like the Yankees blew the Red Sox away...but I'm sorry, Game 7 in the 11th inning isn't exactly a blowout...and you come in and say we have a loser mentality...
Answer me this...did the Red Sox have a loser mentality back in 1999 when they were down 0-2 against Cleveland and win 3 in a row?
Did the Red Sox have a loser mentality against Oakland when they were down 0-2 and came back to win 3 in a row?
Did the Red Sox have a loser mentality when this series was at 3-2 in Yankees Stadium with one of your best pitchers starting and our worst...and ended up winning that one.
God...I can't say it for all Yankees fans...but 99% of you take your moneybuying championships for granted...and just for this reason do I hope that the Marlins crush the Yanks in 5 games or less. I did have respect for the Yankees because of their ability to play...but you fans make me have no respect for you.
(and I apologize to those few Yankees fans out there that actually do have respect for other teams out there...)

Hehe, that's the thing...in Game 6 when the Sox lost the lead and went down 6-4...I was all ed and I threw my remote and everything...last night...when the homerun was hit...I just got up and said "Well, it was a good run...and a great game"

yes freak you have a right to be proud and sean you are being a jerk yes I am a yankees fan but I am also a Marlins fan ( have to be I live in south florida and my husband is a fan ) I think sean you are why so many people hate the yankees . your attitude stinks .sure I am happy about the yankees winning and lord freaky knows that I am :kiss: :animwink: but I will not say the the things you are saying !!! except That of what I said and Freak the red sox owner dropped the Marlins because he didnt want to spend the money on the team. except down here its a sore spot because he spent money on the Red socks so you can see where Marlins fans are coming from. Actually most Marlin fans I have spoken with wanted to play the red sox to prove John Henry wrong . oh and one more thing Bri you know I love ya but dont put me as a fan like sean because I am not. I am proud that this was a great series an I actually thought your Red socks beat us .
