How accurate is Touring Plans Crowd Calendar?

I looked at the Touring Plans Disney Crowd Calendar and was really surprised to see that the last two weeks of October are at levels 2 and 3. I seriously thought it would be crowded with Halloween and Food & Wine. Does anyone have incite on if the crowd calendar is fairly accurate?

My original plan was to spend one day at Epcot while MK was open all day, thinking a lot of people would be at MK and Epcot wouldn't be quite so crowded. Then go to MK on a party night to again not have to deal with huge crowds, but I would really love to experience nighttime at MK and hoping that the calendar is legit.

TP's crowd calendar and crowd predictions are usually spot on. I have relied on them for years.

This makes my day! I was a little bummed about missing the fireworks and parade. Now you're saying I have a chance.

There are many Disney fan sites now that feature a crowd calendar. They can vary by a little or a lot. Over many years I’ve found the TP crowd calendar to be the best to go by. There are many factors that can alter crowd numbers in a park on any day and fluctuate greatly. None of the calendars can be 100% accurate but they are at least a guide that you can go by that’s better than nothing. TP has a much more accurate record over time than any other.
