I grew up with horses and volunteer at a theraputic riding place for children with disabilities.
knowing what I know about how loving, smart, and caring horses are, NO WAY! They are magnificent creatures with so much to offer! It should not be wasted to be a burger. If I was even forced to eat one I could never live with myself.
You wouldnt eat your best friend. I wont eat a horse.

As a Jersey girl who now lives in the south I must say that like my fellow Jersey girls I'm definitely on the NO side of this!! A wide variety of things are eaten in this region as was listed by a previous poster and even after having been here for 10+ years I cannot bring myself to jump onto the Southern style whatever I can catch I'll eat food bandwagon. DH has had gator, but that's about as adventurous as he gets and me well I'm a cow and chicken girl with occasional pig thrown in.

I coundlt eat it, but I don't think I'd be bothered by it in the menu. As others have said, there are plenty of funky things on menus in great restaurants everywhere.
