My guess is precisely because the Parisians will think that the props are from a 'movie' - not from a extinct Disney attraction. If they were on display in Disney MGM Studios Florida, people would likely recognize them from Horizons - which is not a movie.

thats exactly why dlp doesnt deserve to have OUR stuff. they just dont appreciate it like it should!

:lol: :lol: That's great! I remember seeing a site with a bunch of pics from Horizons where the animatronic characters had no heads/skin/other apendages attached... It was sort of disturbing... Good to see they kept some of the stuff intact...

Spares of mini-sub and hover-craft??

Does anyone know if they have any spares of the Horizons mini-sub and hover-craft that they sent to the DLP backlot? It is hard to believe that that is the only one they have since Disney usually have spares for everything? Now, I really wish I can go to DLP one day! (Sigh!)
