So what's the deal with that awful preshow? Frankly, it makes me NOT want to buy Kodak products. Who's with me?!?
Oh, and I guess my real question: What's the deal with the stage in the HISTA preshow room? Was there ever an actual preshow there?

I agree. It has very little to do with the attraction...and really is nothing more than a commercial for Kodak. It's one of the reasons I never visit HIStA...I can't stand through that thing at all.

That's funny, someone recently posted a thread about "should they get rid of HISTA althogether" and my only response was that I just want them to get rid of the horrible Kodak preshow. Couldn't agree with you more.

But as far as the stage, I know what your talking about, but I cant remember ever seeing anything live on it as part of the preshow.

As a true Disney lover who loves almost every ride/attraction, I can confidently say that the Kodak crap almost keeps me from going to this show. It's so long and drawn out unnecessarily and of course, they ask you not to sit or lean so you're standing during it, which seems like 2 hours when its probably like 10-15 minutes...just torture!!!!

I believe that the only thing more annoying than the pre-show is the kid trying to look cool with a snake wrapped around his shoulders. Ugh!

I actually don't mind the preshow advert in this attraction, like others have said it is one big advert but the music is a little bit catch, the clips are quite funny with things like the frog kissing and the end line "with Imagination, anything is possible" is a favourite.

I did prefer the original True Colors advert as it was very cute and even gave me goose bumps (it still does now when I listen to recordings of it).

As to the actual preshow video for the attraction (the video after the Kodak advert) this makes me chuckle every time, lines like "safely seated safely inside the theatre safely, oh yes right" with Dr Nigel Channing posing with his safety goggles are hillerious and get a good laugh from the audience.

I despise this pre-show with a passion. I quite enjoy the attraction itself, but the pre-show is horrendously annoying.
