Not too long ago I did some mock ups in Photoshop of what it would be like if the BAH was relocated to a few of the often suggested areas.

I love the hat because I like to see an icon when I walk into a park. To me a rplica of the Chinese Theater doesn't say Disney.

that and u may have some royalty issues with the real chinese theater. i mean that had it in there park for a while but it was never their icon. when u bought merchandise with all 4 park logos it was the ToL, SSE, Cinderella castle, and the Earful Tower

It's taking up valuable space where it is now and does not serve any function there except to be a pin shop.
DHS needs more open space in that area.

Move the hat to the front of the park, just outside the gates.

There are no issues with the theater being used. That is an internet fallacy.

And to whoever said the theater doesn't scream "Disney" at them, does a hat scream "Hollywood"? Remember the theme of the park isn't Disney, it's the Hollywood that never was but always will be.

Right. It's a grander version of the Hollywoodland DL is currently renovating. Only they're getting the new trolley cars.....:brick:

Like others I'm not opposed to the hat, but I hate its location, it ruins a scene that imagineers spent years perfecting. I think they should move the hat to DTD or somewhere else in the park and return DHS entrance back to its former "The Hollywood that never was" glory.

The hat def doesnt scream Disney either I agree, it screams giant Mr. Potatoe Head plastic piece and belongs at a strip mall or something on 192.

I agree. Plus Disney (especially TDO) isn't going to spend lots of money to move a huge structure just because it looks better somewhere else. They're either going to keep it or destroy it.
