Have you ever met anyone at Disney?

What I mean is, have you ever met a stranger at Disney that you still keep in contact with?

I met a girl from New Jersey there back in 1985 while we were playing water vollyball. There was a nasty storm moving in and they were getting everyone out of the water, we started talking after that. We've keep in touch now for 16 years. Our families got together a couple times down there and I went and visited her and she eventually moved to Chicago and stayed with us until she found a place. She was my wife's personel assisstant at our wedding and she also sang during the ceremony.

Does anyone else have any stories about someone they've met at Disney?

Thanks marcia, it is a nice memory for me. I'm sure you've had wonderful things happen to you at WDW though.

My best friend and I met a couple girls from Seattle, Washington while waiting in line for Splash Mountain. We pretty much spent most of the rest of the trip together. I still keep in touch with both of them.

OK, before Ariel volunteers it for me ( ), I met a guy in fantasyland on new year's day last year when I went to the park alone. We spent quite a bit of time together that evening (/night/morning....), but, as the story has to go, I was leaving early the next morning (I think I got an hour's sleep before we left for the airport). I've been in email contact with him lately... (and would be willing to meet him there again... ;) ).

My friends always tease me about how I'm the only person who could meet a guy in fantasyland...

That was the disastrous trip I've posted about previously....the last day made the whole vacation better!

Marcia! I can't believe you would think such a thing. First all, WDW does not host "one-night-stands." It was a perfect relationship. It was just, well, shorter than most. ;) And he was a gentleman. Or an officer...

;)

I love cookies! Please?

Well it sounds wonderful to me. I'm glad the trip ended happily and the fact that the two of you are still in contact and may get to see each other again is proof that it wasn't just a fling...

LOL! A couple of weeks ago, I met my Prince Charming at Epcot.

(aaawwwwww....)

Actually I met the guy who plays Prince Charming at MK. People call him "Prince" or "Friend of Prince".

I keep in touch with some people I met at Epcot. I also keep in touch with some CMs, but that's another story!;)
