Haunted Mansion "Holiday Nightmare" OFF TOPIC!!!

So where have I been that I have missed this happening???? I know we talked forever about how WDW was not getting it but then TDL ends up getting it with out anyone saying anything?????? Anyone have any info on it?

I don't know anything about TDL getting it but i'm kinna glad that it isn't heading towards WDW. I admit, i am curious how it all looks, but it seems a bit cheesy to me at the same time. Guess it is something to experience, not sure if i am ready for it though. lol

That's pretty much how everyone felt here in SoCal back in '01 too. We were all scared to death that HMH was going to end up cheesy and corny and cheap. Boy were we wrong!

And this was after we had all been proven wrong in 1997 over Small World Holiday. Everyone complained about that one too.... until the thing opened in November, 1997 and blew everyone away. Even the people who hate Small World.

But all of the Haunted Mansion fanatics, and those folks get PASSIONATE about that ride, were thrilled to death when they finally rode it back in '01. Every year since then they've tweaked it and plussed it up even more. 22 days and counting until Haunted Mansion Holiday opens at Disneyland for another fantastic year!

yea, i read about it on www.doombuggies.com and found it to be a bit interesting. Although reading about it is a lot different then riding it. lol. The stretch room has me intrigued tho, the website didn't do a good job describing it. Maybe someone has video taped for those who can't go to DL? lol
