Has anyone else seriously bang their head on the Back to the Future ride??

I love the Back to the Future movies, they are my favorite, and I have always sat in the front row on the ride at Universal. This last time my fiance and I went on it, we had to sit in the back row, which was fine. However about a minute into the ride, we both got our heads thrown back into the metal plate that acts as a headrest and we both a horrible headache for the rest of the day. It felt like my brain shifted in my skull, which of course could account for my strange behavior :hammer:

:lol: Hehe, anyway... I really should have complained about it. Not that I was permanently hurt or anything, but they need to know that these things can happen.

Anyway... Hmmm... my post has no point, I'm just venting.

The same thing happened to me back in 1992
I have been warned before getting in...
But thank god I didn't had a headache... I think...

I did one time, and that was enough for me to learn. Its still a great ride, but I think they should add something in the back. Its bad that Doc says "lean your heads back" during the ride. I try to warn people about the back if I go on there.

AAHH! It's a nightmare bang bang bang! After you get off of it your sure to have a headache especially if you sit in the back!

Not personally - but my daughter came off with an extremely sore neck after riding in the back seats.

This is one of the main reasons why I don't ride this attraction. Not that it's a "bad" attraction...but it's too rough. I go to a theme park to have a good time...not to come out in pain :lol:

I pass on BTTF...unless someone that I'm with wants to ride.

OMG!!

i just recently posted about this in another thread!!
I dont go on this ride anymore because the LAST time i went on it i hit my head so hard that my hair clip broke and stabbed me in the head and i was bleeding!!

that wasnt the only time i hit my head on it, just the last LOL

Last time I went was 98, and I can remember sitting in the back and banging my head really bad. Put me off the ride to be honest with ya!

I'll probably ride it in sept when we go again, but i'll refuse to get on unless its in the front row this time. :hammer:

Yes that has happened to me.....my family wont even go on that ride anymore because of the pain they have endored from the backseat.....they should really use better padding ideas or something...cuz i think they thnk it is not a rough ride.....but it is:hammer: :brick:

I can't afford going to Universal Studios and not riding Back To the Future. It's just my favorite movie AND ride in the park, so I really don't care much for a concusion (Hey! You know how expensive tickets are!).
Seriously, ride the attraction but don't sit on the back, just head to the front row or pray to God for some guy who has never been there before, so you can switch! :goodnevil
