Yeah, it's my 3rd Lord of the Rings thread today. So what. Question though: Before any other themepark snatches up the rights for the ride, would Disney pay Warner Bros and New Line for the rights to a ride?

I think this would a fablous idea.

What exactly are you talking about? Second this really needs to be placed in Chit Chat. Anybody else agree?

No. He's just asking if Disney would be able to get rights for a LotR ride or Harry Potter ride at the Disney parks.

Are either of those movies affiliated with any Disney owned production companies? If not I don't think it could or would happen. I would love a LotR attraction though. Harry Potter would make for a fun attraction too.

Ok just to end the speculation, Universal snapped up the atraction rights to Lord of the Rings a while ago, so expect a LOTR attraction in Universal in the near future, and Warner Bros. owns all the Harry Potter rights, so if they don't sell the attraction rights expect a Potter attraction at Six Flags parks soon. Also, do you really think that even if Disney did own the rights to LOTR or Harry Potter they would build an attraction about them, I think not.
