I've been waiting since the ride opened for a video to compare to our version to see if there's any improvements. Finally, here it is
The quality isn't great but so far I can't see any noticeable changes.

It doesn't make much sense but there is a point to be made here. Unlike Disney Universal doesn't have that many amazing rides that aren't already present in Orlando that makes you want to visit all the other parks. The only thing I can think of is the Studio Tour in Hollywood. For Japan I guess you could say Jaws and BTTF are rides to go there for but that's purely for nostalgic reasons. I guess Space Fantasy too. I think Universal is spoiling us over here in Florida lol. If I ever go to Japan and I'm in the area I would try to visit their Universal but only for curiosity. The main theme park draw is definitely Tokyo Disney.

Yup. I would only need or want to visit Universal Studios Hollywood for the Tram Tour, Waterworld. Something we don't have here in Orlando. Orlando has it's variety of offerings which is why I ever really desired to visit any of the other sister parks of the ones we have here.

When you think about it, neither does Disney. Let's take Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, for example. DL has Indiana Jones. That's pretty much the only absolutely, insanely fantastic, amazingly awesome ride that's present at DL and not at MK. Almost every other well known or classic attraction at DL is also at MK.

I was talking more about the foreign resorts. There really isn't anything in Universal Japan or Singapore that makes me say "OMG I have to go there"!!!!! like say Journey to the Center of the Earth in Tokyo, Mystic Manor in Hong Kong or even Radiator Springs Racers in DCA if you want to bring the domestic parks into it. The only thing that comes close is the Studio Tour in Hollywood. That's all I'm saying. If I ever do find myself in the area of those Universal parks I would still want to go being a big fan of theme parks. They're just not as high on my list to visit as Disney's foreign parks.
