Trip Report Happily Ever After.....A Honeymoon to Remember

Welcome, welcome, welcome! To all that come to this happy place, welcome!

So where do I start? I guess I'll explain this TR a little bit. I did previously write and post this TR on disboards.com, but in the last few months I've found that I've connected with some many people on these boards that it has now become my go to - sorry disboards! I thought it would be nice to share my first and so far only TR here with all of you since you've all been so kind to share yours with me.

This is a report from my fairy tale Walt Disney World Honeymoon from 2015 - eek, I know a bit late, but hopefully it will still be entertaining for those of you who decide to join in. I am just working on the plans for my next trip (hotel and ticket booked and purchased), but I still feel it's a bit too early to share those details for a pre-trip report. I thought I'd relive one of the most amazing weeks I've ever had in WDW to get excited (like I need anything MORE to get excited) about my next trip.

So here we go!

Day 00
August 29, 2016 - THE day

I won't spend too much time recapping this day (better known as THE day) as that is not the reason for this trip report. That being said, our wedding was the whole reason for this trip so it has some importance!

The girls as I had a sleepover the night before the wedding (as did the boys somewhere else!) and it was amazing. It was so low key (which I wanted!), filled with love, laughs and some corny chick fliks....like every good girls night. Before we knew it, it was time to head to bed because we had an early morning.

The day started EARLY. I'm talking 4:45 am early....yikes! But for once the sound on my alarm clock didn't send me into an uncontrollable rage. I was getting MARRIED today! We quickly packed up what we needed for the day, dropped some items off at the hotel we would be staying at that evening, made a quick pit stop for some coffee and headed to my dad's house where we would be getting ready.

We all got ready at my dad's house while (now) DH Ryan got ready with his family and guys at his parents house. What a lovely sight to walk in on!

upload_2017-3-2_12-32-32.png

While we had some breakfast and mimosas - let me be clear, everyone else had breakfast while I focused on the mimosas, our beauty team arrived. We had arranged for hair and make up to come to us which is exactly how I wanted the morning to go.

Eventually it was time to get our beauty on. The team we worked with was freaking amazing - not only did they do an AMAZING job, but they were so much fun and really helped to keep me calm throughout it all. If anyone out there is from Ontario GTA and wants to know more about these vendors, please contact me! While we were having our hair and makeup done, our photographer (again, another supercalifragilisticexpialidocious vendor!) arrived and began taking photos of us getting ready, our dresses and in general just captured the general commotion and excitement of the morning.

upload_2017-3-2_12-36-22.png

FINALLY, it was time to go. It was time to get MARRIED! "Going to the chapel and we're gonna to get married."

Everything ran as smoothly as I had planned and dreamed. Before I knew it....we were Husband and Wife - officially the Ellie to his Carl. It took 13 years, but we were finally officially Mr & Mrs.
upload_2017-3-2_12-39-39.png

We had an AMAZING day. So much love, so many people there to share in our joy and excitement of a new life together. Ugh, I wish I could do it all again or relive it somehow. Just magical.

Things did get a bit weird later that night though ;)
upload_2017-3-2_12-40-56.png

*Sorry, I had to share that one. I absolutely love it. For those who may not know, Jurassic Park was a BIG part of mine and Ryan's relationship. In fact, Ryan walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme song played by our amazing Harpist (again, another vendor I'd love to share with anyone interested)*

The night felt like it was never going to end. So many people, so much food, drinks and dancing. Unfortunately, like all good things it must come to an end. Before we knew it, it was time to pack up and head to the hotel for the night.

Low and behold, our friends had a surprise in store for us. An after party.....that lasted until 5:30 am . All we wanted to do was get to bed, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend some more time with some amazing people and enjoy this day. We ended up going to bed REALLY late, but it didn't matter. We had a blast.

Day O
August 30, 2015 - Pre-travel Day

Well, today was a rough start to the day I can assure you. We had stayed overnight at a hotel by the venue with quite a few of our guests. In typical fashion for our group of friends, this means that we found ourselves the centro of an after party until around 6 AM.

Being the loving wife I now am, I bit the bullet and set my phone alarm for 7:55 AM to get up and check in for our flight to Orlando the next morning. I mean....it was for DISNEY, how could I not.

Once I finished checking us in, I figured it would be a waste to try and go back to sleep so I started cleaning up and packing the hotel room up. We had a lot to do today and I was already exhausted.

We got up and had quick showers, packed up Ryan's Tux (we had to return it today) and hung my dress back up in the garment bag. At 10:05 AM we went down to the lobby as the hotel offered a breakfast. When we got there we were informed that the breakfast closed at 10 AM so we had just missed it.:bored:

Well, were up and packed to go and breakfast isn't available so we decide we should just get the car packed up and start our day.

We had to make a pit stop over at my dad's house as I had left some items there from getting ready the day before. We then had to stop at Ryan's parents house for the same reason.

We then came home and unpacked the car and tried to find places of all of the items. We also went through all of our cards and made a stop at the bank to deposit any monetary gifts we received - we didn't want to leave them sitting around the house while we were away.

We finished our packing and cleaned the house for our house sitting guests and it was already dark out. The day had flown by! I had hoped to get to bed nice and early, but that was a slow fading idea as I still had to shower and get ready for bed.

Finally I was in bed by 11 PM with an alarm set for 2:30 AM. Ryan came to bed shortly after - I think he was playing a video game or his guitar downstairs.

Day 1
August 21, 2015 - Travel Day...you mean it's FINALLY here!

After only 3 hours of sleep, the alarm went off at 2:30 AM. Ugh. Wait...WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY! Sleep is for the weak in this situation. I jump out of bed and woke Ryan up. I asked Ryan to get his butt in gear because Disney was waiting for us! He sloooooooooowly got himself together and started packing the car while I shower.

I jumped in the shower and get ready. I then pack up the final items we needed for our trip - toothbrush, toothpaste, etc., and we are ready to go.

I went downstairs to help Ryan finish packing up the car.

We feed our fur babies and say goodbye. This is always the WORST part about going on vacation. I swaer they know something is up as soon as the luggage comes out of storage. :(

Moss

We finished loading the car and started our first adventure as husband and wife at 3:34 AM.

upload_2015-9-22_20-56-55-png.125164

We were driving to Buffalo to catch our flight - we saved just over $450 by taking the 1 and bit hour to Buffalo over departing from Toronto. We figured the savings would give us some more spending money to do something special while we were away!

The drive was quick and painless - no one is really out on the road this early so it was smooth sailing. No issues at the boarder and we arrived at the Buffalo International Airport at just after 5 AM.

We park in the Long Term Parking area - not to bad at $50 for the week (there is a coupon usually available on the airports website). The shuttle to take us to the airport followed us to our parking spot so we had no wait to get on one.

We went to the Southwest desk and checked in / printed our boarding passes. Security wasn't too bad and we were on our way to our boarding gate in no time. We actually had everything run so smoothly this morning that we had plenty of time and decided to go sit down somewhere for some breakfast.

We found a place called Queen City Kitchen and thought it would do for breakfast. We split a breakfast sandwich (eggs, cheese and bacon on a croissant), a side of potatoes - which ended up being huge! and a side of fruit. Ryan had a coffee and I had a chocolate milk.

upload_2017-3-2_12-55-46.png

This meal came to $26.00. Pretty expensive for breakfast, but we did eat in an airport and we were both full so it did it's job. The food was also pretty yummy. We'd probably eat here again if we were in the same situation - we preferred mixing a few sides and spliting the sandwich than if we both just got one item.

When breakfast was over, we slowly made our way over to the gate to wait for our flight.

upload_2017-3-2_12-56-55.png

Sorry for the terrible photo...it's early in the AM and I had very little sleep over the last few days. None of the mattered as we anxiously sat and waited for our flight.

Our flight was scheduled to leave at 8:05 AM so we started boarding around 7:40 AM. We were in group B so we had quite a few seats to chose from when we got on.

We found our seats quickly and the plane took off on time. Ryan and I both fell asleep within the first 20 minutes of the flight - hey, we were exhausted from the last few days! I could think of nothing else that how excited I was that when I woke up, I would be home!

My husband and I spent a week in WDW for our honeymoon in 2014 (I did a belated trip report for it too LOL). It was such a magical week. The weather could not have been more perfect for us. We had been once before in 2012 but it was so overwhelming and ended up being a blur. So our honeymoon turned out to be our most magical trip yet. I can't wait to hear more about yours!

Ryan and I had slept through most of the 2.5 hour flight into Orlando. Which was a good thing as we had been running on empty the last few days and really wanted to enjoy our vacation.

We arrived at 10:20 AM, 20 minutes earlier than expected - yeaaa more Disney time! We went to the carousel and grabbed our bags - we had packed one large suit case which was only half full , and one small suit case which was mainly full so that we'd have room for any purchases on our way home. Both bags arrived and we and our items have now officially arrived!

We decided that for this trip we would rent a car, which is something we never do. We figured that we wanted to be able to take things more slowly and on our own time. We also planned to go to Universal Studios and shopping so we thought we'd make good use of it. We were able to find a great deal online with Alamo. We rented an economy car for $191.00 after taxes for the whole trip. Score!

Check in at Alamo was a breeze. No line, taken right away. Said no to the additional insurance and we weren't pressured multiple times to take it. We walked out to the garage and got to pick any car out of the assigned row. We took our time and decided on a Nissan Accent.

upload_2017-3-2_13-3-7.png

upload_2017-3-2_13-3-24.png

The car ended up being larger than it looked from the outside and it ran great. Most importantly, it had fantastic air conditioning! When we arrived it was overcast, but extremely humid so this was going to be very important for the week!

We set the GPS and we were on our way. Our home for the week would be the DVC Studios at the Polynesian Village Resort. eeeeeeeeeeek!

upload_2017-3-2_13-4-13.png

We were greeted at the check in and ushered to the check in desk. Again, no line. We had done the online check in prior to arriving, so check in was a breeze. We were Congratulated on our marriage and handed happily ever after pins. We were in luck, even though it was only just after 11 AM at this point, our room was ready. Major score!

Our home for the week was in the Moorea building, room 3031.

upload_2017-3-2_13-5-11.png

upload_2017-3-2_13-5-24.png

Home sweet home!

We had the most amazing view. We could see out into Seven Seas Lagoon and could clearly see the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella's Castle.
upload_2017-3-2_13-5-52.png

We spent the next little bit unpacking and making our room feel more like home. We debated going to Downtown Disney to grab some lunch, but we decided that we still weren't that hungry and since we had an early dinner reservation, we'd skip lunch.

We decided to go over to the Florida Premium Outlet Mall off Vineland.

Ryan ended up with a new pair of running shoes from Nike - I believe they were $89.00 + tax, so not too bad. I ended up with a new Kate Spade clutch - I believe it was around $40.00 + tax. I just loved the color (it was one of our wedding colors so it seemed suitable to pick up on our disneymoon).

upload_2015-9-22_20-58-53-png.125166

After shopping at the outlets, we went next door to Publix's grocery store to pick up some items for the room.

We ended up with some sunscreen, fruit, veggie & dip, sandwich items, crackers, wine and beer.

As we were driving back to the Polynesian, it started to rain. When we pulled up to the resort and parked, it was still raining. We weren't sure if we should just grab the bags and make a run for it or if we should try to wait it out a bit. After a few minutes, we decided that we should make a run for it - there didn't seem to be any breaks around us and we feared it was going to get worse.

As we made a run for it, it started raining harder! Once we got under cover we laughed and were glad we made a run for it when we did.

Got back to the resort and there was a special gift waiting for us! How sweet is Ryan. He had arranged for flowers, wine, glasses and crackers and cheese to be delivered to our room while we were gone.

Disney is so incredibly magical, but it certainly can be overwhelming. Spoiler alert, we had an amazing trip and I cannot wait to relive it all while we plan our next trip! Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks to everyone who has joined in!

Where did I leave off....oh yes, arriving back to our beautiful room at the Poly to find a lovely surprise from my new hubby!

Still excited by my special surprise, we unpacked the groceries and decided to take a seat out on the balcony to enjoy the moment. We brought the flowers and a glass of wine each outside - okay, okay, who am I kidding...I brought the whole bottle, to take it all in and appreciate the amazing view we had and the fact that we were here for the first time ever as husband and wife! eeeeek!:happy:

Of course I had to wear my new bride ears!

After a little bit of time, we still had 50 minutes until our 5:00 PM dinner reservation. I suggested that we go try to get into Trader Sam's since we hadn't yet been there since it opened.

We arrived around 4:15 PM and there was no line at all. We walked right in - this was perfect as I was preparing myself to not get in as I know they have limited capacity and previously had long lines.

Ryan got the Shrunken Zombie Head - Gosling's 15! Black Seal Rum, Appleton Estate Reserve Rum, Bacardi 8 yr Rum, tropical juices, Falernum, and cinnamon. Served in a souvenir Shrunken Head.

I had the Krakatoa Punch - Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Pyrat XO Reserve Rum, Orgeat (almond), Sam's Gorilla Grog, and Hibiscus Grenadine. Served in a souvenir Tiki Mug.

Both drinks were really good, but we found them very strong. We are okay with that because we do enjoying having some drinks on our holidays - okay, maybe more than just when we are on holiday don't judge, but other may not feel that same way. However, we were sat at the big surf board in the middle of the room and the group sitting across from us were rather loud and obnoxious. We didn't have the greatest experience - not because of the drinks or service, just because of the location we were sat at and who we were sat with. I think this may be a reoccurring issue if you are there just as a party of two? That being said, we would absolutely give this a try again and hope we didn't get sat with another group.

Oh well, that wasn't going to get us down. We had reservation to get to any ways. I didn't note what the bill was, but I am assuming it was around $35 for the two drinks - we found them to be rather expensive, but the drinks were pretty strong so it is what it is.

We took a peak outside and it was still raining. boo! Oh well, we had our large umbrella so no need to worry. We also weren't traveling far.

We walked through the main house and upstairs to Ohana's for our 5:00 PM dinner reservation.

upload_2017-3-3_12-55-45.png

not my image

Our table was not quite ready yet, so we decided that we would go over to the bar and grab a drink while we waited. There was only one drink for me, the Lapu Lapu - Myers's Original Dark Rum and tropical fruit juices served in a fresh pineapple topped with Bacardi 151 Rum. Ryan decided he also wanted a delicious drink made in a pineapple! When in Rome....or Polynesia I guess?

After a few minutes our buzzer went off so we grabbed our drinks and went in.

'Ohana's is a family style buffet. This means that you sit at your table and your server will bring you serving dishes of food and plates directly to your table. You can then pick form the serving dishes and make your meal. If you want anything more they will bring you more.

Course one was Coconut bread and salad. Sorry...this was our first meal in Disney so we may have jumped right into eating, forgetting that I needed to take photos for my TR.

The next course was Honey Chicken Wings, Pork Dumplings and Noodles.

Next the servers came around with different meat skewers - beef, chicken and shrimp.

Then dessert came around. OH MY. It was SO delicious. Bread Pudding :geek::geek::geek::geek::geek::geek:

upload_2017-3-3_12-58-23.png

not my image

Dinner was really, really good. Neither Ryan or myself LOVED the meat skewers - the meat seemed a little over charred, flavorless and dry. However, the rest of the dinner was fantastic and we would do it again. Dinner came to a total of $86.00 + tip.

We had a fantastic view from our dinner table. Not that it really mattered as we didn't have the best weather, but we had a lovely time.

We decided that we were going to go over to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the evening. We had booked a few fastpasses;

6:00 - 7:00 Splash Mountain
7:05 - 8:05 7 Dwarfs Mine Train
8:25 - 9:25 Space Mountain

When we got to Magic Kingdom it was still raining. We were okay though because we brought our large golf umbrella. Rain wasn't going to scare us away - we actually love cuddling under and umbrella and walking in the rain.

However, due to the rain, we couldn't ride either Splash Mountain or 7 dwarfs mine train. Instead we went over to Buzz Lightyears and give that a ride. I ended up a Galactic Hero by scoring 999,999, Ryan not so much!

We also rode the Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid and Space Mountain. I thought that the fireworks may be canceled due to the rain, thunder and lightening and we were both starting to tire out after our extremely early morning and exciting day.

We decided to call it a day and head back to our room. We figured that if they fireworks went off, we could watch it from the comfort of our balcony. Luckily the fireworks DID go off and we watched it with a glass of wine. Wishes is an incredibly special show for us. Ryan proposed to me during our 2013 Christmas trip during Wishes. Literally during the part that does "And all your wishes, will come true". Watching the show on our HONEYMOON in WALT DISNEY WORLD from our HOTEL ROOM was surreal. I am actually gutted that Wishes is going away and that I won't have another chance to see it in person - yes, I do understand it's had a long run (15 years?) and it's time for a change, but still. I just hope whatever they replace it with isn't all about projections and still is a firework show.

After the fireworks, we crawled into bed and watched some TV. We quickly fell asleep. I was in my happy place and was so excited to wake up tomorrow for our first full day at Walt Disney World on our Disneymoon.

I'll try and cut out that piece from our wedding video and see if I can send it to you.

Day Two
September 1 2015

We set our alarm for 7:45 AM as we had a breakfast to get to! We woke up, got dressed and took an enjoyable stroll over to the main house to check in for our breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe. We arrived at 8:05 AM for our 8:15 AM reservation and was taken in right away.
I was here for one reason...TONGA TOAST - Banana-stuffed Sourdough French Toast rolled in Cinnamon Sugar and served with a Strawberry Compote and your choice of Ham, Bacon, or Sausage. mmmmmmmmmm.

However, the thought of eating this HUGE meal was daunting. No worries...Ryan and I did what we typically do. We ordered a single order of Tonga Toast, a side of bacon and a side of potatoes (home fries) all to share! Ryan had some Kona coffee and I had a chocolate milk to drink - because you know, I'm 5 years old and all that!

upload_2017-3-6_15-56-53.png

Sorry for the bad quality of the photo!

The food came out incredibly quickly - it really was not busy in there at the time we were there. We also had a super sweet waitress - I'm so sorry that I didn't get her name. She was attentive and gave us a little attention as we were on our honeymoon, but not too much that it was obnoxious or anything like that.

Everything was SOOOOO good. Ryan loved the Kona Coffee in the press and I loved the Tonga Toast. Score! Hands down we would eat here again. The bill came to $24.00 + tip, which we thought was quite reasonable for a sit down breakfast that tasted as good as it did!

We (really I) were really glad that we shared this breakfast for two reasons.

1. Tonga Toast is absolutely delicious, but it is a bit too sweet for either of us to have eaten a serving to our self
2. We were heading to Typhoon Lagoon for the afternoon - ugh, the thought of eating a huge meal like that on my own and then wearing a bathing suit all day...NO thank you! haha.

We went back to the room and got changed into our swimwear, doused ourselves in sunscreen, packed up our beach bag and headed out. We decided that we would drive there as we are often SO cold on the buses on the way back to the room after being wet. We left the Poly at 9:30 AM, Typhoon Lagoon opened at 10:00 AM.

LET'S GO!

It was a quick and easy drive over and before we knew it we were in the parking lot staring at this.

upload_2017-3-6_15-57-18.png

We ended up having to wait a few minutes for the park to open so we decided to take a few photopass photos.

upload_2017-3-6_15-57-41.png

Once we got in to the park we went and found ourselves some lounge chairs in the shade. Nothing is more important to me when at a water park than finding lounge chairs (ones you can lay down on) with an umbrella or some sort of shade. We figured this way we had somewhere to retreat to if it got too warm.

Off we went to play!

upload_2017-3-6_15-58-1.png

I always love visiting Typhoon Lagoon. In general I think the Disney water parks are missed by too many guests! If you haven't visited one of them yet, make time to on your next visit. My opinion is also slightly biased as I have such amazing memories of being there as a kid with my family - this was BEFORE my parents messy divorce so maybe that's why Disney World in general is so special to me!

WAY OFF TOPIC...sorry for that. Point is, Typhoon Lagoon is such a blast...GO if you can!

We hung out until almost 1:00 PM before we decided to pack up and get ready for something very special I had planned for this afternoon!

Once we had dried off a bit, we jumped in our car and headed back to our hotel room to shower and clean ourselves up.
We decided to have some lunch - turkey and cheese sandwiches, fruit and veggies and dip from our grocery store stop last night.

Ryan didn't know it, but I had a surprised planned for him :flower3::love2:

I suggested that we go for a walk along the path between the resorts. As it was a beautiful afternoon, Ryan was in. We walked through the Polynesian Resort to take in it's beauty and continued along the path toward the Grand Floridian.

It was only fitting that we made our way over to the Wedding Pavilion and relive a bit of our wedding - hey, it wasn't a Disney wedding, but it doesn't really matter when your beaming in love!

Check out this beautiful view!

upload_2017-3-6_15-59-9.png

ahhh...such a beautiful place.

We casually continued our stroll through the Grand Floridian and I asked Ryan if we could make a stop at the Sense's Spa...pretending that I wanted to check out what it looked like - when really secretly I had booked us in for couples massages!!!!

upload_2017-3-6_15-59-27.png

Ryan had NO idea. We checked in around 3:00 PM for our 3:30 PM massage. Once they checked us in, they gave us robes and slippers. We got changed and met up again in the waiting area where I spent some time drinking some tea and reading some magazines while we waited to be called in. It was so quiet, peaceful and calm. So surreal...I was here with my hubby in my favorite place in the world about to be pampered! I remember counting my blessings.

This was simply amazing. The spa was simply beautiful, our masseuse's were fantastic and everyone wished us all the love in the world! Amazing experience...there isn't much more to say.

When we were done at the spa Ryan suggested that we continue to relax and walk over to the pool bar and grab a drink and just take in the atmosphere. I couldn't think of a more perfect thing to do at this moment - ugh, I wish I could go back right now.

Around 5:00 PM we decided it was time to head back to our room to get showered and prepare for our dinner plans.

Where were we heading tonight? Stay tuned to find out!!!

Hmm..that's weird! Thanks for letting me know. I refreshed the uploads and from my end it looks like they are showing - but they looked like they were showing before, so I'm not sure. Is anyone else having this issue that they cannot see my photos?

Maybe I need to remove and reload them if it's not working. Please let me know!

Hopefully these photos load. If anyone is still experiencing issues viewing them, please let me know and I'll have to figure something out!

Where were we...yes, okay. Last we left off we had just enjoyed a WONDERFUL afternoon at the Grand Floridian Senses Spa. We now had to get ready for dinner. We didn't need too much time because tonight wasn't a formal/fancy meal, but instead we had a fun night head of us.

Around 7:30 we left our room and headed over to the TTC. We quickly learned that it was much quicker for us to walk to the TTC for transportation than to walk back to the main house - Moorea is the last building I believe before the TTC.

We got to the TTC around 7:45 pm and hopped on monorail over to Magic Kingdom. We then jumped on the boat over to Fort Wilderness as we had dinner tonight at HOOP DEE DO MUSICAL REVIEW!!

Now this may not seem like the most ideal or romantic dinner for newlyweds, but we love to laugh! Sometimes when things aren't going right and we're sad, one of us cracks some kind of joke or brings up a funny story and everything seems okay again, even if just for the moment. To us, nothing is more important than to remember to be kind, love each other and never stop laughing!

I had seen this show many times before (but not in 8+ years), but this would be a first for Ryan.
That being said....HDDMR was a must for us. I had purchased the tickets a few months before leaving so I cannot recall the price, but we did buy Category 1 tickets.

When we arrived, they took a photo of us - ugh, please excuse my fat arms LOL....I'm working on this now LOL.

We were then taken to our seats...we had a seat RIGHT at the front beside the piano.

We were then introduced to our server Bob. If you didn't already know, Hoop Dee Do is a family style buffet (they bring the food to your table, but you can have as much as you'd like) and it includes unlimited pop, sangria and beer. If you haven't yet picked up yet, Ryan and I like to drink haha, so we had planned to take FULL advantage of this.

When we met Bob, he took our drink orders and I told him "Bob, we're celebrating so keep the sangria coming". He laughed, but I don't think he realized I was serious haha.

Dinner here included; corn bread (oh my freaking gosh, this is some of the BEST cornbread I have ever had), salad, fried chicken, ribs, corn, mashed potatoes and beans.

At some point during the show I asked Bob for another sangria and he informed me that they were only allowed to serve 2 drinks per hour for a total of 4 drinks for the show (the show is 2 hours). I was under the impression that it was unlimited (even the menu online says so)...has anyone ever been told this before or experienced this?

I gotta hand it to Bob though, he kept serving me sangria haha. Honestly, we can handle our drinks so it's not like I was being drunk, obnoxious and loud (well, sort of loud, but playing along with the show, not drunkenly loud haha). I think this is why Bob continued to serve me. Just seemed like a strange thing for him to tell us, but then continue to serve us. In my books, unlimited drinks means unlimited drinks - I promise, we are NOT alcoholics or have issues with drinking, we just like to enjoy ourselves, don't judge me LOL.

Eventually we were STUFFED. That's when they brought out dessert. Mmmmmmm strawberry shortcake. It was SO freaking delicious. Sorry that I don't have a photo of it...maybe all those drinks hahaha!

When dinner and the show was over it was time to head back to the Polynesian. We hopped on the boat back to MK and then took the monorail back to the TTC. We walked back to the room slowly - both just to enjoy the beautiful night and because had we moved any quicker we would have been rolling home haha.

We crawled into bed to watch some TV and have a cuddle.

A perfect end to another perfect day. Ahh.....if only we could go back.

Well, there it is. Day two.

I can't see them either.
