Is every night there packed? I want to go, but I have been hearing that it is always packed. Is it like this on Wed?

Last night was empty. ScreamHouse was a walk in for the most part and Dueling Dragons was only a 10 minute wait when we went by.

I've been hearing from a couple of friends who went to HHN last weekend that it's horrible and not scary at all. If you go on peak nights (friday & saturday) it will be packed. They only rode The Hulk Coaster. I am having doubts about going!:hammer:

Well, being in one of the houses I have seen a few thousand people in just the last couple of weekends. I have noticed something and I think Rob might back me up on this too, but there are four type of people who come through;

1-People who come because they want to be scared. These are fun for me personally as these are the people who will say 'That's good' and such. These people go and enjoy it no matter what.

2-People who don't want to be there. I like these too because you get the best screams out of these people. They are obvious as they are the ones holding white-knuckle to the people in front or beside them.

3-People who go to challenge the scare-acters. These are the stupid idiots who go and when they see a scarer come up to them and scream in their face. These people most likely don't get scared as they are too concerned about finding people to look like an idiot in front of. And to that sub-class who will say 'I scared you' I would like to say 'No, you didn't you stupid prick.'

4-Drunks.

If your friends are in the 3rd class then their statements do not surprise me at all. However you say all they did was ride Hulk? Did they do a house? The houses are the fun part. I will admit that the islands I have been on aren't exactly terrifying, but they sure are creepy in my opinion.

My friends are in the first class of people. They went because they wanted to be scared. An HHN didn't live to their expectations.!:hammer:

Well, I normally don't find most of it scarry ever (at Universal or anywhere else) but that's just me. I may jump at the occasional person who surprises me but someone once said that if they made haunted houses the way I would want it, they'd have to give people diapers at the entrance. With that being said, I still have a good time going. I enjoy going through the houses and doing this kind of thing that only comes along once a year. Getting to go with people that are TERRIFIED to be there is just an added bonus, I guess. :fork:

BTW Kicker, you and I have a date tonight! :D <insert evil laugh now> Be sure to be at your best early, because yours will be one of the first houses we hit and I'm wearing a long sleeved shirt so I'm not worried about getting my arms terribly clawed by any of the people I'm going with! :sohappy:

Here's the thing, the earlier in the month you go the emptier it is, and the acting is not too great. Closer to Halloween it's starts getting packed, and the actors start getting more into their roles. Just an FYI, try to go the last week, during the week. Not Halloween night though, you wont be able to do everything from how packed it will be.

Oh, I'll be ready... watch out for the dark cloud hovering next to you...

I'm pretty much in my role right now... 'I am Death, I want your soul'. A lot of it comes down to how the people coming through the house are reacting. If pricks are going through, I'm not going to enjoy it as much. When a group of middle school girls are going through, I am at the top of my game because I know that those are the people that make the night worth wild.

Yeah I managed to do everything at least once. The only waits I had were 30 min. for Evolution and the wait for Scary Tales to open. I even managed second rounds of Scream House and Maximum Carnage, and an hour of DDR.......;)

Shouldn't be too bad tomorrow. I have a feeling it will be a lot like most other non-peak nights.

I guess that's good. As long as there aren't any 3 hour waits. I hope it is like other non peak nights with school being out.

the coasters close at 10 due to noise ordinances in the nearby (ie- ACROSS THE STREET) residential areas. If they run the coasters, they risk a $35,000 fine for every time one runs.

Is it 10 or 10:30 because I went on the Hulk after 10 on Sunday night.

On sunday, all of the signs that they had up in front of the ride said that the closing time was 10:30. Around 11:00, the coasters were still running, but with no people in them.
