I just had a look at the Park Hours Calender for 2003 and the layout of the hours posted would seem to suggest the IOA may be hosted HHN again this year.

I know that hours are unconfirmed at this point, but looking at what is posted I am guessing that they are thinking about it.

There doesn't appear to be anything to confirm this. though I may have missed it.

from what I understand, HHN will be held in both parks this year

Hey Rob... from what I was understanding HHN is just going to be at Islands this year and they were going to start the dual-park concept on year 14. From what I know about this year it would be better to just have it at Islands. A couple of things would work with the Studios but I want them do try and expand the Islands version a bit before before trying to do both.

What I've been hearing is a lot closer to Kicker's story, but I would not rule out portions of the Studios being used this year. They would absolutely LOVE to bring back the parade this year, and the easiest way to do it would be to annex a couple of streets from the Studios (probably Production Central and Hollywood) and hold the parade there.

I really don't think the time is right for two full theme parks to be part of HHN (because that would require double staff, double security, and double the logistical planning in addition to the usual day at the resort), but if attendance continues to grow like it did last year, they're really not going to have any choice.

The only thing that is really for certain this year is that IOA will definitely be the focal point of HHN this year, no matter how much the Studios play into it.

ehh.. either way, I don't think i'm going to bother to audition for HHN this year, so I'm not too concerned about it. I'll just enjoy it as a guest

I'm with Rob on this one... oh the joys of military life. I'm not able to work HHN this year... or much likely go as a guest. That greatly depends on where I am stationed. Maybe I can take a couple of days leave and run down there and check it out... but there is no telling.

So... I want pics and reviews like crazy from you people so I can keep up on my home-town of O-Town.

Excellent stuff. We were really bummed last year when we couldn't work out our trip[ late enough to get to HHN : IOA, we had been and gone in July and so missed out.

Some of the comments here raised a query in my mind though.

Are there any connecting routes between the two parks other than the route out of one exit walking around passed HardRock, etc and re-entering the other park?

I know there arenj't any guest routes normally, but I wondered if there are any cast routes that could be utilised during HHN if they split the event across both parks.

It just seems that by having to go outside and then re-enter it would kill the whole 'mood' of the night, unless they included the river alk area in the overall event, but that would cause ticketing issues.

Lastly, we took out son to HHN 9 & 10 in Universal, he was 3 & 4 respectively. HE LOVED IT both times.

This year we wil be taking him again hopefully, he'll be 7. Not sure what we'll do about our 2 year old daughter, but like her brother she is pretty much up for anything.

I'm sure they will be scarred for life and completely disfunctional eventually.... :goodnevil

Actually...the Scream House in Seuss Landing (which was actually in USF I believe) had a queue that started in Seuss and ended up behind Nick Studios

I thought it was pretty close at that point...

I do seem to rememeber a shot from a satelite that showed how close they were, but I can't remember where it was.

Man the IOA version last year was awesome for me, alot of new theming, new music loops, all kinds of stuff, just too much to remember. Its better in IOA, but Universal is also nice. On either side, we got to see backstage areas, which were interesting for theme park freaks like me.
