Not at the mo. Too expensive. The most recent eye opener was Shanghai’s Pirates.
Any chance Orlando gets this technology after all? I know it had been discussed at one point for a certain original “rural explorer”

What a bummer...Not at the mo. Too expensive.
E-DA???Greater motion is exactly what Brogent added to the flying theater concept way back when E-DA asked them to rip off Soarin’ Over California.
At Epcot this morning and took these in the Guardians queue building -- any idea what those shapes are? Assuming it's way way way early days for actual stuff to be going in there, but I guess you never knowwwwwwwwwwww....!

And piles of dirt/concrete from the smashed up floor.Looks like safety fencing to me.
This also would be my response as I look into a trip to Shanghai to check out the newest, and greatest ride technology....Not at the mo. Too expensive.
Two words and down the googler machine rabbit hole I go. Awesome info for those of us not as in tune with the industy, thanks.
E-DA is a park in Taiwan. In the mid-00s they wanted their own version of Soarin’ Over California and hired Brogent (for what reasons I do not know, as they weren’t into ride systems at the time) to create something that would get around Disney’s ride system. The result was the i-Ride which debuted with the opening of Fly Over Taiwan in 2010. Instead of three large carriages that lift three rows in front of the screen, the i-Ride has each row load on its respective level and then moves out toward the screen. Since the benches are not attached to a larger carriage, they have 6 degrees of freedom. When building plans for Avatar leaked, many (including myself) thought Flight of Passage would be utilizing the i-Ride system due to how similar the two looked in plan. A smaller variant of the i-Ride, the m-Ride, will finally come to Central Florida later this year when The LEGO Movie Masters of Flight opens as part of the new LEGO Movie World.E-DA???
Just a dirt and equipment I imagine. The underground piping should be going in around this time I think. At Epcot this morning and took these in the Guardians queue building -- any idea what those shapes are? This is what I see...At Epcot this morning and took these in the Guardians queue building -- any idea what those shapes are? Assuming it's way way way early days for actual stuff to be going in there, but I guess you never knowwwwwwwwwwww....!
And yet these idiots can spend $300 million on a Tron clone and around $1 billion on Star Wars land which only features two rides? Ugh Disney kills me.Not at the mo. Too expensive.

The flagship resort deserves this tech.
People are already calling it the GoTG queue building. Poor UoE. Yep, I am still on the sad phase of the healing process. I got 2 more years before I get to acceptance. At Epcot this morning and took these in the Guardians queue building -- any idea what those shapes are? I still can't believe they're not building E.P.C.O.T. the actual cityI'm not even to the acceptance phase for Lights of Winter.
People in Disneyland also like the technology of Mission Breakout. A little off topic but I'm very interested in the opening of Galaxy's Edge because, as of now, Guardians of the Galaxy may be the most technologically advanced ride they've ever had. And in six months, they're getting something ABOVE Flight of Passage in level of technology. Disneylanders heads are probably gonna be spinning from... tech shock? I'm sure they'll be ecstatic though.
To kind of keep this on topic, people should check out Voletarium at Europa-Park. A double flying theater that was not just dropped into a box.
I know right! You literally just go up and down and stop in front of screens of fight scenes. How is that advanced??M:BO is the most technologically advanced ride at Disneyland? Really?
