both haha. Cranium Command is better than an Inside Out attraction that doesn't exist...AND the movie.

I think they closed Horizons because the structure couldn't handle the weight of the ride system and that there was a sink hole. Nothing has been confirmed by Disney as to why it closed, but these are the most popular rumors.

There was no sinkhole and part of Disney's public "justification" for tearing down the showbuilding was that Mission: SPACE was too big (its building is smaller).

No. Marni has said this is not the case and the cause of the closure was due to no sponsor and a new sponsor being willing to help build a new attraction.

Otherwise how could the ride be closed for a year, and then suddenly reopen and stay open for another 3 years until the M:S deal was signed?

That's probably right. That doesn't mean that Disney couldn't have just continued to operate it, but, when someone else comes in and is willing to foot the bill for a new attraction and a new building... one tends to listen.

Trying to shoe horn a cutting edge ride system into a building not designed for it.

Test Track opened 17 months late. Though in all fairness the main issues weren't due to the Motion pavilion.

I remember it was under refurb when we were there in 98. But at least Horizions was still open
