Great attendance at TK over the weekend

I'd like to see them get a new movie in Timekeeper. Personally the shot of New York city needs to be changed. I have seen it a lot since 9/11 and every time I do I always hear people mumbling about how they can't believe the twin towers are still in that movie. It reminds people of the events of 9/11, which doesn't bring a smile to peoples faces, which is what Timekeeper is supposed to do.

That could be true, you could take a positive from it I suppose. But having them in there does date the film. I know that is a tacky thing to say, but it is the truth. I personally don't mind that they are in there. Either way I am just happy that Timekeeper is open. At least when it is!

One Cast Member working at Timekeeper reported that seeing the World Trade Center had more of a positive response from guests. . .

It's tricky.
That's interesting to hear. Maybe it's a case of accepting that hiding pictures of the World Trade Centre will not make 9/11 go away. People are now better able to handle the imagery rather than keep running away from it.

I'm not a psychologist and I realise this can be a touch subject for many and I post this as part of an open discussion, not to be a smart alec and try to upset people. So please, no flaming.

I warned my crew when we were there last month that this might be the last time they see Timekeeper. I was just glad to be able to see it. Robin Williams is still a funny guy. Especially when I see the attraction only once a year (and didn't even get to see it last year because we were there in June and it was not opening for the summer until the week after we left.

What would be a good suggestion for a new film for TK? I would love to keep the theme of the attraction (as well as the characters). But since Verne and Wells have been used, who would they pull from history to perform another exploration into time?
